    As a new Floridian I can say thank you for your insite on Tampa. I have been coming back and forth to Florida for years. I’m from chamblee ga. Surprisingly when I found my job has transferred here. My wife and I jumped on it. We live in west Tampa mins from ybor city. Even more surprisingly is cheaper than living in chamblee, ga. Sooo glad and blessed to be here. Your videos are amazing and I now know ever more places to go.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    I’m toying with the idea of relocating to Florida from California and your videos are very helpful! I would reach out to you if I end up doing it. I’m likely coming there in December to check it out and see what my first impression is, this video is great! Thanks!

      @@samo8204 I live in Santa Cruz! Which is amazing but it’s becoming unbearably expensive and I worry about the future. I also would like to live in more of a city-ish environment to have more of the options that has.
      What have you guys thought of relocating? I would love to hear your experience!

    St Pete Pier is what Tampa really needed but St Pete built it, has won many awards, many activities, restaurants, art to look at

      Agreed its a great pier! Dont forget the Tampa Riverwalk has awards also… #2 in the country i believe and top riverwalk 2 years in a row… and getting better

      Visited St Pete in 2023 and I was not ready for what I saw and experienced. I had a blast in St Pete and have been considering relocating to the area from Illinois. St Pete blew me over! I expected a city full of retirees waiting to die. Not! It was full of life, beautiful architecture, restaurants galore, museums, and that outstanding waterfront! I didn’t get to the pier(hate that I missed it), but that area was bustling and I mean that literally! It’s a beautiful downtown with seemingly tons of things to do. I was truly impressed with St Pete!

    Adam! Is the Pendry Hotel under construction along the Riverwalk yet? I am an Illinois resident who was visiting Tampa in 2023. I kept hearing about the hotel, as we have one in Chicago. When will the one planned for Tampa start construction?

    I’m a mom with a toddler, are there neighborhoods around the new downtown Tampa area besides Hyland Park with houses rather than condos? I was looking at homes in Wesley chapel, it’s beautiful but seems far from everything yet I’m not sure I want to bring my daughter up in condo living. Curious if you have some insight into that? I love the vibe I’m getting from the new downtown area and the vibrancy!

    Forgot to mention the Pendry! That will dramatically change the skyline and the central section of the riverwalk.

    Did it flood at the riverwalk?

    • @TampaFloridaLiving
      @TampaFloridaLiving  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JrayAloha there was a portion of the riverwalk near the convention center that had a couple inches of water on it. It was cleared by the next day. I believe it was a combination of the storm and high tide

  • @Weeki370
    @Weeki370 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Eventually the river walk will be 200 miles long and go to Miami, bigger isn't better, you need lots of activities within a dense area, maybe 1 mile tops
