Whiskey River PMD 4K

PMD adults can be big! For me, a size 18 is big. But I know that's small to some people and so here is a pattern you can tie for the bigger bugs you may see including PMDs. Tied using Slim Rib in the body and a long wing, you can adjust the length of the wing as needed. Based off the Tilt Wing patterns, it's essentially the same pattern with a tiny twist. Tail: EP Fibers and Wood Duck
Body: Thread
Rib: Brown Slim Rib
Hackle: Barred Medium Ginger
Dubbing: Cinnamon Super Fine
Wing: Bleached Deer Hair

Love your videos and your flies. I tie and use the Juanna be hopper Juan all the time. I have a question. What is the diameter of the slim rib you used on this fly?

Thank you. The slim rib is a very small diameter, much smaller than micro tubing or anything else out there right now.
