Finally got some decent weather - here's the first ride of 2023. It was in June, but more videos to follow.....plus an update where I am with my riding. Ride Safe everyone.
Hello and greetings from Melbourne Australia. I have same bike as you. Am 77 yo. Yes 77 yo. This bike is so forgiving & a joy to ride. Take care my lovely. 😂
just found your vlogs. nice riding. i ride some of those roads often myself too. took my test 4 and a 1/2 years ago, after many years of not riding. loved my little 125. but it struggled up some long hills. got a Honda CBF600s after passing but found it a little heavy. traded it in for a Honda 500 rebel 2 months ago and it feels great to ride.
Looks like a lovely day for a ride. I own this bike as well and despite it being rather slow on the open roads, I absolutely love it. I've put over 5000 kilometres on it since I got my permit in March, through a wet and cold winter in Australia
Looks like you're riding really well 👍. I had the previous generation of that bike when I got back to riding after 20-year break. I already had my full license but wanted something easy to ride to get feel of riding again. It's a great bike and very forgiving. After a while I changed it for a Kawasaki z400, but I will always be grateful to the little 125 for giving me my confidence back again. As a female rider myself, we definitely need more women riders and the more people like you who put out content will encourage others to give it a try. 👍
I had a CB125 old one at the end of the 80's it was a good bike but I did have trouble with the front brake. Had to get new seals for the pistons. Nightmare to fit.
i don't know what part of yorkshire you live in, but i'm in the leeds/bradford area and had some great 200 mile + days out since february, must've done about 4,000 miles and i'm a fair weather rider with the same bike too lol, you'll be giving people the impression gods own country is mainly wet and cold :) - keep on enjoying it tho GL
😀 you’ve made a fair point there. Work commitments prevented me going out on a weekday so was restricted to weekends prior to July - I think that’s why I didn’t manage to get out more as the weekends were wet 😀. Making up for it now….just have to sort my camera out to share some more footage. Cheers
@@yorkshire125 haha i know what you mean, i'm fortunate enough to be at the back end of being self employed, so go out whenever it's a nice day (grandparent duties permitting lol) and if i had to depend on weekends it would have been much tougher like you said, but i've got decent waterproof protective gear so if caught out it's no biggie, i just prefer not to and like the sun on my back up the dales :) GL
I have black version. It does 71 mph and then rev limiter kicks in at 72 mph which took me by surprise when the power was cut momentarily 😅😂 I thought I broke it.
Hi, I have s GoPro Hero10 Black. Great camera (4K) but let down by frequent battery changes, hence why I don't always capture a full journey. I have the mod kit on it so the mic is inside my helmet. It's all new to me so if you, or anyone else, has better suggestions, please share :)

Thank you. It's a great bike. Hope to add a few more vids to the channel. Ride safe :)
Impressive, how much did you pay for the insurance? I’m looking to get one

Hello, how's the riding going? Are you still using the honda.

Yes same, 23 plate CBF125 hits the limiter at 72mph. Cuts the engine same as you said. Was flying down hill, gutted 😂
I've not had that happen.....yet :)
Was für Spiegel hast du?
Hast du ein Link
Is it ok for a new rider?
What camera did you use for this?
