this song played in my head when i was blackout drunk in a bus station sitting on the ground watching countless people walked past me. i felt lost but at the same time i felt free at that moment.
Said this before about this band... I love "real" rock. Pop Evil is, without a doubt, the only group doing IT the right way. I'm not a kid anymore but listening to their music makes me feel encouraged for the future of true rock.
+cutta1966 yeah, there's a ton of great rock and roller from the 60s and 70s, led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, pink Floyd, the doors, Jimi Hendrix, just too many to put down here let me say I happened to be from Michigan and grew up with Michigan rock'n roll from the 60s and 70s and there's nobody in the world that was any better than the fucking guys who came out of Michigan. You ask any rock'n roller from the 60s and 70s what they think of the artist that came out of Michigan like, bob Seger, Mitch Ryder and Detroit wheels, MC five, Iggy Pop and the stooges, amboy Dukes with the asshole Ted Nugent, frijid pink, the frost with Dick Wagner, suzi Quatro, Alice Cooper, Grand funk railroad, the punk band, death who the Raymon's surely know they are. There are many many bands that I haven't even listed, you my friends can look up the rest. . Some of the great rock and rollers, and rock bands in the history of rock'n roll. PS and that ain't no bullshit.
I'm miles away from the truth Does the sacrifice matter Be well prepared for the faithful I lost my way somewhere Between the light of your disapproval Fuel the fire my soul is burning Facing the sun living with shadows Holding redemption so close in the palm of our hands So many questions always unanswered Still we bleed for the answers Ash to dust bleed we must Will it all be undone when the kingdom comes Broken glass this working class Built to simply be shattered This isolation still concerning Just letting go of the unknown Sometimes leads me to madness Instead we choose to spend our days in blackness So tell me Facing the sun living with shadows Holding redemption so close in the palm of our hands So many questions always unanswered Still we bleed for the answers Ash to dust bleed we must Will it all be undone when the kingdom comes Facing the sun living with shadows Holding redemption so close in the palm of our hands So many questions always unanswered Still we bleed for the answers Ash to dust bleed we must Will it all be undone when the kingdom comes
So tell who in the band is the Scorpions fan? I listened to this song like 20 times straight when I first got the CD. I hear subtle ode's to the Scorp's. Intended or not its fantastic. Wish I hadn't missed you here in Eugene at the WOW hall!

+cutta1966 these guys from Michigan Will hopefully carry the rock'n roll torch that Bob Seger's has been carrying for the last 50 years.
+mike67006700 You got it brother. Not only Seger, but the whole "rock" sound.... Clapton, Chris Rea, all those who know "the sound"

Too true man.
Love UP. I heard it previewed on SXM in October went out and bought the Cd. Love this band.
I'm miles away from the truth
Does the sacrifice matter
Be well prepared for the faithful
I lost my way somewhere
Between the light of your disapproval
Fuel the fire my soul is burning
Facing the sun living with shadows
Holding redemption so close in the palm of our hands
So many questions always unanswered
Still we bleed for the answers
Ash to dust bleed we must
Will it all be undone when the kingdom comes
Broken glass this working class
Built to simply be shattered
This isolation still concerning
Just letting go of the unknown
Sometimes leads me to madness
Instead we choose to spend our days in blackness
So tell me
Facing the sun living with shadows
Holding redemption so close in the palm of our hands
So many questions always unanswered
Still we bleed for the answers
Ash to dust bleed we must
Will it all be undone when the kingdom comes
Facing the sun living with shadows
Holding redemption so close in the palm of our hands
So many questions always unanswered
Still we bleed for the answers
Ash to dust bleed we must
Will it all be undone when the kingdom comes

Very god
The song is so awesome, but why do you guys have the lame fade out at the end? Right as the guitar solo was getting so intense too! :(
