ugh, when I went to see them in concert is was perfect. Everyone sang "You're adorable as hell, but I'm glancing at your wrist" with so much emotion, oml. It was perfect.

This is proof that without Jason, Mayday have the potential to write incredible, powerful, well written songs. Not saying that every song on the first album was all of those things though, some songs on that album are meh and some songs on this album are meh too. But every now and then this band comes out with a song that brings out an abundance of the strongest of emotions.

@@joellim7010 he was a former co-vocalist along with derek before when they were just starting the band. he left after a lesson in romantics got released.

I was a late bloomer emo, just discovering all these wonderful bands too late. Not to be elitist, I still love some of the newer emo bands we have nowadays, but something about Mayday Parade just perfectly vibes with me
Glad to see they're still finding their way to new(ish) fans. Been hooked since a young teen, 24 now. Something about the band just never leaves you

seriously, i fell in love with MP about 3 or 4 years ago when i first heard When I Get Home You're So Dead. I have listened to them almost everyday since then. they are one of my biggest inspirations as a musician (drummer) and a HUGE inspiration on my band. when my band first started with me and a bro about 3 years ago the first few songs we covered were MP songs. and we still play Jamie All Over occasionally. ive seen these guys twice and can't wait to see you guys again. hopefully in 2013?
