Thank you Eugene so much for sharing this knowledge! I searched for several videos, instead of others that can take 20+ steps, get lost during the complicated process and still don't get us the results, this one is simple and easy to follow, and get the job done!!!. SUPER.
The best tutorial on this subject. I struggled over one week trying to figure out how to do double scale line chart and this instruction solved it in one minute. Thanks much.
Thank you for taking us through the basic iterations first, and then refining it to the end. The content delivery was well thought out. Thank you very much Mr Eugene.
Hi Nizar, I'm not sure what you want, but try the "Select Data" option and then use "Edit" to change axis titles (right click on chart area and click on Select Data from the Pop-up menu). Dr E.
HI vc22910 - first, many thanks for watching my video, I'm glad you found it useful. I have never used SAS software, so have not tried the technique you suggest. I use Excel for almost everything! Dr E.
🤓YAAAAYYYY I DID IT!!!! This Kinetics Lab is 17% of my final grade!!! Thank goodness I figured out what she hinted at to make the grade 😊🙏💜💞 Many Thanks, my friend!
This was clear, concise and well-delivered. A really easy tutorial for a complex amount of data. Thank you for removing the frustration from my reporting!
Hi longlive218, Yes it is - in the Chart Tools - Layout ribbon you will see the "Axes" drop down menu where you can select to add a second horizontal axis. Dr E.
It's a start and well presented. My greatest learning is that my wish for multiple data sets v date, ALL of which have different unites of measure (and can't be converted (alas)), can't be done this way. I need to be able to create what amounts to overlays. I will look elsewhere, and thank you for your video, Eugene.
Thanks for your video - very helpful. What I don't understand in my own chart - and yours - is why the x-axis has numbers in it instead of the names of the months. My chart is for a school year - not a calendar year - so months would really be helpful!
Thank you for the video! I am working on a big spreadsheet with revenues, sales, etc and I needed help. Your video gave me some great ideas as well as served its purpose in teaching me the right skills. Thank!
there is another way of doing that.... Insert Text Box (Ribbon) and write the month's name under each number and repeat the process until you have all the months... then if u want, simply edit the x- axis to remove the numbers... hope this helps
At end of the video, you neglected to add the x-axis with the months of the year. This is where my problem is adding data to the x-axis on a scatter graph.
Hi, this video is very useful to anybody wants two different data chart type, if horizontal data is same for both primary and secondary type, then how can i put horizontal axis label at tha bottom(i.e., january to december) pls any video about this, pls upload
It helped me in plotting my data, and I have one more thing to ask, I just need to name my X and Y axis, how to do that? Where can I insert or add text to this scattered graph?
Thank you very much for your video, it was very useful. I have a question, how could I do it if I wanted to 'move' the data so that every line started at the same level?
A very useful video. Appreciated. But if I want to present this diagram without any other data for another person, how can this person see if the lines belong to the right or left axis? It is clear in this example, as the data table is next to the diagram, but what if no data is available?
what i think nizar wants is to get the horizontal labels back to january, February..etc, not 0,2,4,6... i tried to do what you recommends, but couldn't
This is so helpful! thank you so much! do you know how to change the X-axis into words instead of months in numbers. So that is shows Jan, Feb, Mar and so on.
Even I Had trouble with getting the months shown below the x axis. Managed by inserting individual text boxes and typing out the months over the axis. The numbers can be removed later
Hi gg hggg - unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to do this in Excel. The normal way to change the x-axis would be to select the axis, right-click, and choose "Edit" to select the month fields. This is not operable in multiple fields. Dr E.

At end of the video, you neglected to add the x-axis with the months of the year. This is where my problem is adding data to the x-axis on a scatter graph.
The months are the numbers on the x-axis. 1-12 corresponding to each month.

Hello, thanks for the video. Do you know how one would create a line chart with dates in both the X and Y axis? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
This video is great, thank you. How do you change the numbers at the bottom to show as months?
Thank you very much for your video, it was very useful. I have a question, how could I do it if I wanted to 'move' the data so that every line started at the same level?
