The exact steps to configure motion detection can vary depending on the brand and model of your IP camera. However, I can provide you with general guidelines that should be applicable to many IP cameras. Please note that you should refer to your camera's user manual for specific instructions tailored to your device.
Here are general steps you might follow:
      1. Access Camera Settings:
Connect to your IP camera using a web browser or the camera's dedicated software. Log in with your credentials.
      2. Navigate to Motion Detection Settings:
Look for a section in the camera settings related to "Motion Detection" or "Video Analytics." This may be found in the camera's web interface under settings or configuration.
      3. Enable Motion Detection:
Locate the option to enable or turn on motion detection. Most cameras allow you to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection. Higher sensitivity means the camera is more likely to trigger on subtle movements, but it may also result in more false positives.
      4. Set Detection Area:
Define the specific areas in the camera's field of view where you want motion to trigger recording. This is especially useful if you want to exclude certain areas from triggering motion detection (e.g., moving trees or busy roads).
      5. Configure Recording Settings:
Once motion detection is enabled, find the settings related to recording. Set the camera to start recording when motion is detected and stop when the motion stops. After making the necessary adjustments, save your settings.
IMPORTANT❗These settings may vary based on your camera's manufacturer and model. If you have the specific model of your IP camera, you can search for the user manual online or contact the manufacturer's support for detailed instructions.
