This song, these words never die nor fade away. Beyond the song, beyond the splendid singing and flawless execution, etc., is love, is truth. Great job, both of you.

Since you boys introduced me to this song, I play & sing it quite often and you just wouldn't believe how well it is received. NOT my playing or singing...the song and the lyrics. I can't thank you enuff for your valuable assistance. God bless you all.
You just thanked us pretty good by taking the time to leave us such a nice comment.I am so glad we could be a little help to you and yes i is a great song with some great lyrics...Best wishes from the hills..Ron..
Hi from Nova Scotia Canada. This is the first time hearing this song.It is beautiful. Listening to you guys is a great way to help us through our long cold winter. Keep that music coming
I was in Nova Scotia in the early fall a few years back. You had your first snow while still had green leaves and of course all the evergreens, blue lakes, blue ocean,,,most color i had ever seen in the fall...loved it..Our winter is finally winding down..worst in years..lol..Thank for visiting with us ...Ron
Great to have ya stop by and give us a little encouragement...Let me know where you are located...We are a few miles outside of Huntington, West Virginia..
@mountnmonkey Everything is fine here.....i always check for new tunes everynight i try not to wear everyone out with comments on every video but i watch them all and play along on guitar with the ones i can.....i have no talent or rhythm and i cant sing but thats never stopped me from trying....thanks for the music
I an relatively new to the mandolin (a late bloomer you might say). But I do this song and would love it if you would send me the tab for the opening lick on the mandolin to learn - a beautiful tune - you guys do an awesome job on it (A true east coast Nova Scotian)
Another GREAT song and another Great performance by you guys. I'm gonna try and find the lyrics and chords for this and add it to my book..I know I won't be able to duplicate this but...I'll try to do it justice.! Thanx.
@johnthobden Hello John! I'm a believer in lettin' folk believe in what ever they want, or in nothing at all, so long as they don't try to interfere with what I believe, or don't...lol..Anyway, I believe I like some bluegrass gospel music, and I believe I am very glad that you came by to visit with us..best wishes your way..*ron
OOH YEAH!! GO EERS!! We're sure glad you stopped by and let us know you like our tune. Sometimes I wonder if anyone is looking in..lol...Thanks for your kind comment and we hope to see ya here again soon...*ron and guys..
Thanks for your very kind comment. I love your channel as well and it may seem as though we do mostly bluegrassy stuff, down through the years we have done almost the exact songs your guys do down there in Georgia. When Jack did "When God Comes And Gathers His Jewels I had to smiles just thinking I most have sung that song a hundred times while jamming. Keep posting and I'll keep watching. Thanks for the visit...*ron
Hey Joe! Thanks for letting us know your peeking in on us. We're glad to hear you like our tunes and we're happy to get your feet to tappin'..Your hillbilly friends..*ron and the guys..
@chuxtrux Hi Chuck. Mike is playing a sweet sounding Michael Kelly he's had a few years. Steve, like his dad, has an elephant full of fine old fiddles..don't know which he has here. My ax is a '76 H-D 28 with untold hours on the jam-ometer. Admittedly it ain't the easiest of pickers, but for volume it is a cannon, and that's just what I need to play behind boisterous fiddles or those belligerently laud banjo's. If I were a rich man, I would own a Martin H-D 28 Marquis to pick...love their sound.
Ron how are you? I would love to have the words for this son...Mike does a great job o it and Ron I like what you do with the guitar..the runs I mean. Ron if there's a way I can have the words I would love it.
Great to see ya here and now that you have the words....get busy. Just saying it's to cold to do anything, like I have done all winter ain't gonna work much longer with spring coming soon..lol..
hi guys. i am always pleased with your musicianship, but what sturck me in this video, due to hearing a bit of instrumental introduction, is the oh so sweet, warm, sound of those fine instruments. they sound like they might have some well played years of breaking in applied. i've been surfing the net lately looking for a good new or used guitar, and so many of the videos, even of some of the martins, just sound too new, stiff and bright to my ear. yours sound just fine thank you, chuck
Hey Moosehunter! , sure is great to hear from you my friend. ..glad ya like it. I hope everything is fine up your way. Thank you so much for your kind comment and for dropping by to see us...*ron
@Mishomisguitar I just came up empty too. I don't know how mike learned it but I can find lyrics in the next few days.I'll let you know. Thanks for visiting...*ron
@bbrowningful Hey Brent Moss!!..sure great to hear from ya.....'specially since you bring flowery praise..lol..Yeah..I reckon ol' Steve could hold his own with them Philharmonic boys alright. I'll bet he has a lot more fun when he plays than they do with them fancy fiddles of theirs...oh, and i bet they they can't even drink no moonshine when the pick, like we can... Wes called me last week..sure great to hear from him. Hope all is well down there..give me a call sometime..we need to pick...
@curbshoppin As soon as ya get your plantin' done, jump on your best saddle mule and ride on out here... pretty soon we'll have you playin' along on everything ...
@Rikkyhardo Hey Rikky! The other video was done in Steve's garage several weeks back. It was video'ed with much better equipment than mine, but this one still seemed to turn out ok...Thanks for visiting with us..
They are all talented. Even the fiddle player. I could listen to this any time. They don't make music like this anymore
Sounds amazing. Love it..
Wow, very beautiful song. Well done.
This song, these words never die nor fade away. Beyond the song, beyond the splendid singing and flawless execution, etc., is love, is truth. Great job, both of you.
