Amit Kamath is a journalist from the Indian Express. He decided to make chess his full-time job and the newspaper also agreed! This is quite a breakthrough for the sport that they a popular periodical has managed to have someone in their team who is full time into chess. Amit is a very talented journalist. Through his thinking mind, he is able to find the most interesting stories wherever he travels. We caught up with him at the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League and got to know more about him.
