He's still smart, and they realize that too. He just doesn't compare game sense and utility to other star players in CSGO. His aim is top tier, up there with people like Guardian and Shroud (he could just be the best), but lacks the other traits of a star pro player. I have a feeling he'll get there, and even as a C9 fan, would love to see him become that all star he was meant to be

Ahh I wish you guys talked about how they basically nerfed him with the original set of character acceleration changes they made back in like.. 2014 or something? He was terrifying back when you could do the "slide stepping" instead of stutter stepping in the open. There are some insane plays he had and he when that style of aim fighting was still possible and he was by far the most dominant rifler that used that movement and aiming style. That change (while better for the game without a doubt) knocked his style of play down a few pegs and it took him nearly half a year to come back to any type of form.

One of my favorite CS:GO players. Just like sports personalities, eSports personalities don't have to always perform like gods for people to like them. People cheer for their favorite sports teams win or lose, there will always be obstacles along the road.
ScreaM is a legend indeed, anyone that played CS:Go in their lives (me included), aspired to have an aim like his. I remember when I use to practice like him and try to get my one-taps on fleek 😂 this video braught back some nostalgia 😅

Literally my favourite player since day 1. I can remember when i first started playing CS:GO in 2014 and i watched one of his frag movies which inspired me to start playing the game seriously. Everytime i see him play it gets me so motivated to just jump in a deathmatch and practice for hours. ScreaM is, and will always be my #1 inspiration !

Miles Hackett I’m not referring to errors in the sentence, I’m talking about the phrase used in the sentence. It is like when people say “I couldn’t even imagine what it’s like to....”; the fact is all you can do is imagine what it’s like, because one cannot actually be. That proper phrase is, “ I can only imagine what it’s like...”. The way the phrase was executed just seems uncomfortably forced. W/e tho, damn if we do, damn if we don’t. ✌️

Yeah I thought they were going to mention that sometime in the vid and they didn't. Just like how Kenny's style brutally suffered when the awp was nerfed. First shot rng accuracy was exceptionally bullshit though because not only did it nerf Scream it also made the whole game slightly less skill based.

He's literally what you get when you take an insane online shooter death match veteran and drop him in a game where there's so much more ways to win than winning sniping contests - he's deadly and if he can play his game, you just kinda die, but if he isn't mid - long range shooting, he does really terribly at times due to tunnel vision.

@dont let me down He's basically telling that yes aim is significant in the game, but no aim isn't the best/easiest thing to get you that win. Aim is probably one of the least effective methods to win a game. Most pro plays revolve on good map control and most rounds are won through good smokes, flashes and ability to read the game. Scream had probably the best aim that this game will ever see, but his inability to comprehend how flashes, smokes and gameplay work costed him from great success.

ScreaM is not a dumb player tho, this myth of "smartness = 1 - aim" is absolute nonsense
@@Hyperus he's not incredibly dumb, but that highlight reel can really show how bad his tunnel vision of getting insane one-taps can lead to him floundering in fairly stupid ways when it comes to things that aren't sniping contests
@@Hyperus he is not dumb, he just focus too much on shooting sometimes, and if you read the situation you will put yourself in positions where you dont have to shoot so precisely because you will get people from behind and things like that, CS is not a game that is decided by aim, the strategy component is probably more important 90% of the times, and in that part he is only a little above average for a pro player.
@@Hyperus Of course he is not dumb, but he lacks the tier 1 player's gamesense. Players like Xyp9x also have incredible aim (not at the level of Scream) and even better gamesense. It doesn't matter how good you are in 1vs1 situations if you never have the opportunity to get in that situation.
