There's nothing in this world that brings me more joy from the nostalgia other than the time i play these JJ2 tracks on my guitar, the fact that these sounds come out of my hands make me feel so... idk man, i love this game, especially the sound tracks, i wish i'd see another JJ game, i'd play it for hours, days, months. Im glad to see through people like you discovering the game almost 23 years after its release that I have solid reasons to love it and that it's not the nostalgia of when I was a kid being in favor of my opinion when I see how you appreciated it. I highly advise you to play Unreal Tournament 1999 too, it still looks very good to this day, it was made by the same devs, and on top of it, the soundtrack was also by Alexander Brandon. Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and Unreal Tournament 1999 are God tier in terms of everything you may ask.

It always reminded me of childhood and summer vacation because they were the only times I could enjoy gaming at the fullest, compared to the other hard-working seasons where I had little time playing. That and the fact that I first found the game in my cousin's summer home. The pure nostalgia is overwhelming me when I hear the soundtrack of Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

I didn't even know what internet was until 2010. Simpler times.
Since I listened every every single instrument of this track separately on a MIDI version, I fell in love with the bassline. It's simple an a bit too quiet, yet, very catchy.

This was my first game on my pc it came with games installed in it like this game and Cid the dummy I really never finish even the first level in both of these games but when I was 9 i decided to finish both of these games and I did they weren't hard at all I am not a 90s or 00s kid I was born in 2007 yeah too late I got a windows 7 pc i am glad that I grew up with this game and not fps shooter games

Its not the original ending note is it? I think the last note is ending in minor while in the game its ending in major. Anyway I think i even like this version better, also really cool to co play this on guitar.
This great game in so many ways reminds me of Earthworm Jim. In the sense that its wacky, a platformer with shooting elements, colorful graphics and great animations, and most of all they both have incredible soundtracks.

Too bad JJ3 couldn't find a publisher and the line of games was scrapped entirely.... :( I still hope that Epic Games can leave Fortnite along and try to make some re-imagining or remaster of JJ2 in the future....

As a child, I never liked the Castle levels as they seemed boring. Loved Cold Day in Heck and Rabbit Roast OST because those levels had a lot of cool game environment. Yet years later, as an adult, I realized that I'd been ignoring this masterpiece by Alex. The irony is that this OST from JJ2 is the ONLY ONE I listen to now. And the nostalgia is strong with this one. Thank you, Alexander Brandon. Love from Pakistan

My cousin brought me a CD full of games and this was one of them. This was the first game I ever played. Love it to this day.
