Some ppl believe nothing can enter space without burning up, even a rocket! This rocket looks like it's not going up but sideways. If that was debris it wouldn't have went that way for so long. It would've went down like fireworks do when they go out.
Fireworks are launched straight up so the debris falls straight down. Rockets headed for orbit are launched up but also at 28163km/h horizontally. This one made it up 146km and only 21317 km/h before it exploded. The debris is falling, but still has a lot of that horizontal speed, so it also streaks all the way across the sky. As it falls it encounters thicker and thicker atmosphere. Most of the debris burns up and what remains ends up in the ocean, far to the east of the launch point.
When a rocket or space ship launches it does no go straight up. It flies slightly horizontal to the ground so when it reaches space it can achieve orbit. So it makes sense when it blew up the debris continued on that horizontal trajectory as it came down.
