    Thank you - this entire channel is a newly discovered goldmine for me; I just passed with certified practitioner cert and was trying to implement some of the basic features to prepare for dev associate. Very clear explanation, super clear audio, no complex technical jargon I didn't understand as with some other videos.

    Very good explanation. I never seen SQS on youtube. Your is the first video. You explained VPC very well due to which I came to this video, but you really explained it well.
    Im preparing for AWS solution architech exam and I failed it last time. So to pass it this time, Im trying to attend the videos.
    SQS is a important topic. Can you put more real life examples?

      Thanks so much, Nelson! I'm so glad it was helpful. 😊 Here's an article that details some real-world use cases/examples that might be useful: www.linkedin.com/pulse/aws-sqs-its-use-cases-ajeenkya-suryawanshi/

      Thank you. Can you let me know more videos which will help me pass AWS SAA-CO2?

    • @TinyTechnicalTutorials
      @TinyTechnicalTutorials  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nelson! 👋 The videos here on the channel are more focused on specific how-tos, and probably aren't sufficient to pass the SAA exam. But I do have a full course on Zero to Mastery if you're interested: academy.zerotomastery.io/a/aff_464yrtnn/external?affcode=441520_lm7gzk-d. Use code FRIENDS10 for a 10% discount. 😊

    Thank you for the wonderful series. Have a question though- why is the receive count for each message increasing every time we poll it? Is that because retention period is 4d?

    • @TinyTechnicalTutorials
      @TinyTechnicalTutorials  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kakoli! The receive count is how many times the message was received in the queue. In my case, it's because I polled several times in the demo (looks like 4 times in the video). If the message consumer doesn't delete the message from the queue, it will stay there and the message count will continue to increment each time I poll. At least until the message retention period is met, like you mentioned. So after 4 days (the default setting, but it can be up to 14 days), that message would automatically get cleared from the queue. Great question...thanks for asking! :)

    Your tutorials are amazing. The diagrams are very intuitive. Do you have a course for aws certifications on Udemy?

    • @TinyTechnicalTutorials

      Awww, you're very kind! 🥰 I do actually have a course on Udemy for Certified Cloud Practitioner: www.udemy.com/course/aws-certified-cloud-practitioner-master-aws-fundamentals. Enjoy!

      Hi again rlee431! 😊 I do actually have a full course for Solutions Architect Associate here: academy.zerotomastery.io/a/aff_464yrtnn/external?affcode=441520_lm7gzk-d. It hasn't made it to Udemy yet, but it should eventually. If you (or anyone else here in the comments) is interested, you can use code FRIENDS10 for 10% off. Thanks again for supporting the channel!
