Just watched your newer video about the airport buses and decided to look at this one, as this is a visit I really want to make while I'm in Athens in the next few days. I will have to take the cable car up and probably down as age and arthritis have made my knees and back a bit too painful for that climb/descent. But excellent tip about the ticket machine only taking cash - I would probably have had cash with me but now I know. As to the urination, maybe I'll just have told my breath.
You can also take a taxi if you can afford it and it suits you better. As for the smell, I would say it was probably just a bad day, and many people use the cable car on a daily basis with no problems. Take the cable car so you can be left with some memorable moments when visiting. Thanks again for your kind words!

While I'm on Lycabettus Hill, I was hoping to do a time-lapse video of the sun going down and the city lights coming on. Looks very crowded up at the very top, I was hoping there might be a quieter spot further down where I can set up my little tripod.
