    A friend of my fathers was into outback camping and offroading in Australia and had an assortment of offroad vehicles over the years. His haflinger was one of them. It used to remind me of the vehicle used in the original TV show Lost in Space minus the tracks but it didn't bother me. I used to play in it all the time. It was completely enclosed with canvas sides in army green, it was awesome. He also had an open top safari car, I think it might have been some kind of landrover but I'm not sure. I do remember slaming the drivers door on my bare foot and breaking all my toes though. Ahh the good old days

    We had one when I was a kid in the 80s, I learned how to change brake shoes and how to drive at 14. We lived on a farm in Scotland so there were great places to go up the hills. It never failed!

    Hi I remember riding in one of these as a kid in the early 70's in south Gippsland in Oz, I was very impressed in them then and still am I wish I could get my hands on one now.

    I remember these when I was a kid in Northern Scotland. One of the local estates had one for deer stalking etc. Other estates had Argos.

    I have this Vid, the yellow rat and your Haffie in the snow vids in my favourites and watch them regularly as they are well made and great backing sound tracks - but where are the rest of your videos? I would love to see more - I drive my Haffie nearly everyday but dont get much of a chance to get offroad and I love to see them doing stuff offroad - so if you have more Haflinger vids please put them up :-) . If you dont have any more - well make some :-) lol

    hi ! great haflinger ! which types of changes have you done on suspension system ? did you replace the original springs with other with lower stiffness ? because I saw very good capability to cover the roughness of the track . thanks

      Hello Andrea!
      I took the orinigal 14mm springs because they are very soft and I put a polyamid ring inside so the spring is a little bit preloaded.
      Without the ring the 14mm spring is too soft. The size of the ring depends on your car weight!
      Greetings from Tirol

      Hi , because I have the long wheelbase haflinger and I feel that is to stiff and unable to cover like yours, but maybe my coil spring diameter is bigger than yours .ciaoo

    Hi, i've notice that you removed the petrol tank. Where is it fixed now instead of the original place?

    • @Im4Hafi
      @Im4Hafi  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! One petrol tank is in the right box for the rear seat and this one is combinatet with the reserve petrol can behind the co driver. So you can fill it easier.

    So wrong in all the ways! Dont this guy know that you need at a minimum a 2,5 tonnes pickup with a massive V8 to do such driving?!!!
    Or? 😉
