Man, he was good back then. He went SUPER commercial after his FL studio stuff and then just lost interest after people didn't like the new style. He made a few amazing tracks for FL before he went off the rails though. A guy with an original streak who lost it by being sucked into the mainstream. WHAT A TRACK THIS WAS THOUGH!

would swear I'd heard this somewhere at some point of my life, but I don't really remember touching any of the "cool stuff" projects besides "fall silently" by toby emerson (because it's the one that played when you installed FL Studio 11). Was just watching a video looking back at old FL Studio versions, and assuming I've heard this before, I guess I can say it brought me *back* here
Anyone whos spent any time with DAW will find most if not all of them have enough of each others features that saying one is better then another is merely a remark about how much you prefer its GUI and interface. FL studio works fine to me. I liked it over Ableton, Reason, Protools, and Steinburg's program.

People who say that FL sucks just don't know how to master it. You have to use EQs and all the other plugins correctly in order to create a good sound. So stupid those guys. Of course some mac programs have better plugins installed, but you can install all of them in FL too.. it's just a matter of money or knowledge. It's more beginner friendly, but it doesn't mean that you can't be professional with it.
Actually, it existed 8 years ago. It first started around 2001-2002. El-B was one of the first people who kinda made music originated on that. But no, this song here is not dubstep.

Agreed. I use ableton now but I found FL Studios midi editing far more intuitive and the rapper function around VSTs useful.

i think the vocal stem was in the software and this song was made with FL as a tech demo. so i guess it was written only for that
