We have stayed in Circus CIrcus in Vegas twice. It's simply a large parking lot with hookups. Also has a pool. It wasn't bad except for temps over 100.
1846 must be the date the courthouse was built, so that was my bad. I was just filming stuff and didn't really put two and two together about the date and the cars. 😳
Chad I like your vest Fellow Veteran . Thank You once again for your Service in the Navy during Desert Storm . I'm a Cold War & Vietnam-era Air Force Veteran .
Our poor bike has been in our son's garage for about 8 months and we are finally able to bring it with us on the road! So excited to get out and about on it again. Watching this just makes me all the more excited!
Spectular video, really a fun trip.😁😁😁 The scenery was great. Virginia Cily and Reno look like a great vacation spot. Thanks for sharing again. You guys have top notch videos😁😁😁
Man Shipmate I’m a Retired Marine Gunny and I live in Reno. I live at the foot hills of Virginia City. Next time you’re this way I have 30 amp if you want or the Grand Sierra is not far. You missed so many of our favorite spots in VC and other local spots in Reno. We can take my Jeep out or I’ll grab the bike and show even better places to ride!
1846 must be the date the courthouse was built, so that was my bad. I was just filming stuff and didn't really put two and two together about the date and the cars. 😳
What a cool idea! A full RV Park in a casino parking lot. Best of both worlds- get to stay in your own home and have easy access to all of the casino / hotel amenities. Great video!
We were there a few years ago right after the burning man festival ended. Most of the folks from burning man were there too. There were some very interesting rv’s in the park for a few days. Fun place to stay
Didn't know you were here. We live in Reno. Glad you had a great time. Next time come in Sept for Street Vibrations motorcycle rally. That airplane was used for our daughter's high school graduation.
I stayed at the Wildhorse Casino RV park, between the Wildhorse Golf Course and the Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton OR. Great park and very easy access which was appreciated as it was my first night in my first 5th wheel!! Picked up my Outdoors RV Glacier Peak F28RKS at Thompson RV in Pendleton OR. Great experience all the way around. We were there in December and didn't use the amenities but saw enough to know that I wasn't too very back during the summer!! Golf for the hubby and plenty of outdoor activity and amenities for me!
There are actually a large number of casinos that have full RV resorts connected. Circus Circus Las Vegas, Main Street Station Las Vegas, Sam’s Town Las Vegas, Riverside Casino Laughlin, Route 66 Casino near Albuquerque, Sam’s Town Tunica MS. Many of the tribal casinos across the country have either free parking and prior the the pandemic two in Oklahoma City even had free RV hookups for three days.
DUDE! You guys literally drove right by our house when you were coming down Veteran's Parkway. That drive to Virginia City fav of the bikers as well as Mt. Rose Parkway ( Hwy 341 ) to Incline Villiage, NV on Lake Tahoe's North Shore.
Really Enjoyed this video, has we have all of your videos. But this one is special as you drove by a mile from our house and I was working the auction while you were there. Great job promoting our area. Keep up the great work. Next time, drinks are on us 😄
Here are a couple of Casino stops we have made. Turning Stone in a Verona, NY is a great RV park very nice casino. Plenty of amenities and close to Oneida Lake. Route 66 Casino on the west side of Albuquerque. Amazing RV park! Walking distance to the casino. Great food and plenty to do. Short ride to downtown Albuquerque.
The Casino queen in East St Louis also has a full RV park. It is not nearly as grand as this hotel but it’s a great location for site seeing in St. Louis.
Mystic Lake just outside Minneapolis has a killer RV park. Probably as nice of a RV park you will find casino or otherwise. Full hookups, concrete pads, Lot of space between sites and grass.
The fact that you held onto the camera while being flung out of the sky towards the ground was amazing. I prefer putt putt, just say'in. Keep on show'in us the good life.
I boondocked at Mohegan Sun Poconos on my way from MA to FL . . It was faaaantastic :) The views were incredible! I'm not a gambler . . but the food was pretty good and they had a wide variety of take out or dine in options. There is 24 hour security, oversize vehicles have their own area and if you want to hit the road at 5:30 am there is fresh coffee brewing :)
Great opening to the video! Including Tara on stage! Chad you coulda been a bit more enthusiastic about her performance. But then it WAS all staged for our viewing pleasure!Your videos are easy to click like of, because I have never seen one that is not worth at least a click, and MORE!
Chad, I don't think those vehicles were around in 1846, but the building was probably built then. Really enjoy your videos, Thanks for producing them. TP
The Route 66 RV Resort west of Albuquerque is at a casino and is a very nice full service RV Park! We spent a night there on a trip from Colorado to Phoenix.
An absolutely gorgeous trip Tara and Chad. Y'all are pretty close to us. We do quite a bit of casino camping. It is pretty fun and gives ya some activities to enjoy all in one location. Love how brave y'all are doing that bungee jump. OMG!!! My feet were tingling just watching. Enjoy the journey and we hope to see y'all on the road. 🥃🥃👍
I was there at the same time, stopping over on our drive home to CA from Utah. It's fun to see you in this area. Your channel is one of my favorites. I look forward to seeing more videos from your trip.
I knew immediately that I would LIKE your channel and SUBSCRIBE and watch your adventures when I saw you guys on Motortrend's RVing in the USA episode "It's A Balloon".
We stayed at the Grand Sierra resort campground a few years ago. I was awake all night because the drug addicts and others down by the River were loud and wandering around the campground looking for stuff to steal. It has not been on my preferred list since.
Winstar casino in Oklahoma also has a really nice full rv park, but not with as many amenities as this one! Wow! Looks like you had a great time, thanks for sharing!
We stay at GSR about twice a year, as we travel from Utah to California and back. We love it. My wife uses the spa for hours with a low entrance cost of about $20, and can add on massages, etc for additional charges. I hang out in the poker room and love the poker tournaments. We were there October 2021, plans in California were interrupted by Covid, so we stayed for 3 days. There is a large river park about a mile away, great for our English mastiff. I highly recommend GSR.
Great Video! I live in Reno, and I hope you enjoyed your visit to our amazing city! If you come back through, try to come during the Street Vibrations bike rally.
There was one at the Circus Circus here in Vegas for years. Hmmm fronted on Industrial Blvd., so in the back. The park was always full, reservations far in advance. The powers that be did a remodel a few years ago & that was the end of that.
Price of RV parking at a casino sure has increased since the last time visited. (Not the one you stayed at, this one looks much more developed than the parking lot of years ago. (One way of increasing space fees, make fancy improvements). The original concept of casino parking, (another opinion, many apologies), was just that, park, then go into casino, or neighboring attractions. Thanks for the latest renditions of RV adventuring!!! Best travels wished to you both.
So glad you went to Reno!!! Grand Sierra is awesome!! Virginia City is awesome!! Love the video!! Being from Idaho, we go to Reno a ton!! Ultimate Rush is the best also!!! Gahhh! Road trip time!! :)
Great video. It brings back some fantastic memories. We rode the V & T Railway from Carson City to Virginia City a couple of years ago. We ate at the Red Dog Saloon, toured the Ward School Museum and hit a few of the antique shops. The mine tour you did is on our list for when we get back out that way. Really enjoyed the bike ride footage. That is a beautiful area of the country.
Looks like you'al had some more fun, fancy eatin' an all...then that there ride, wow what a ride...aughta be illegal to have that much fun. lol. Thanks for the invite, much appreciated, saw it all, could you pick up a baseball cap for us, as we didn't see any place to make the purchase where we were at the time. No worries if you did get a chance to get a ball cap, it is on my list.
Once again another great video tour! You do such a great job sharing your adventures, the footage, music, commentary are top notch! Just what I’d expect from NAVY! / TARA too!!!
we're outside Sacramento so the Reno-Carson City-Virginia City-South Lake Tahoe area is 90 minutes away. Ride up there often. Great roads and hiways, lots of great breweries and restaurants, and museums around there. The Nevada State capital and state buildings are fun to tour, the Bower's Mansion is a fine example of the valley's history, and there is a children's science museum in Carson City that's great. You should plan your next time in September for the Streets Vibration event. Thousands of motorcycles. And Burning Man over Labor Day.
If you are driving up through Oregon, the Seven Feathers RV parknis beautiful and they have a nice casino. Not sure about other amenities though. Injust really enjoyed the RV park.
Great video! I remember from a previous video you said you were coming to Michigan this summer. Just wanted to let you know there are campgrounds everywhere in Northern lower peninsula and casinos with campgrounds in Northern lower and the U.P too!
The casino you was at was originally the MGM Grand. The lake that you golfed on was originally a gravel pit that was allowed to fill naturally from the ground water. If you want a great bike ride go out of Reno instead of turning left on 395 at Gieger grade go right and run the Mount Rose Highway. It will drop you back in to Lake Tahoe. Safe travels and roads. Brian and Cindy "xtreambydesign with passion"
I don't know if you noticed but when you showed the war memorial the Air Force flag was upside down. It's about 7 minutes an 48 seconds in. I'm retired Air Force so I spotted it right away. Kind of like you might notice something Navy related. Lol
great video. We live in Reno and love it here.. Were about to purchase our first fifth wheel and look to you guys as great resources. thanks and keep up the great vids. Semper Fi
Great video as usual. You guys are awesome. Planning our trip to South Dakota and we’re watching the Black Hills videos from the past. Thanks for all you do!!
My wife and I met you guys in the mine tour. We just purchased a 22 promaster to start vanlife in. We’re from Missouri but came up for hot august nights.
Born n' raised Renoite. There is WAY MORE to do in this area besides gamble. I always say there's only 1 thing you cant do here is surf. Then one year high winds in Tahoe created such big waves that people actually surfed!
First , I want to say thanks for the tour of all the places I'll never see in person. That's the main reason I've been watching your channel for the last 3 or 4 years. Not to mention you guys are awesome people. Gordie from the big island of hawaii

The picture in your video of the Court House 1846 has vehicles in front that appear to be from 1930-40's. The museum messed this one up. 😂
That was my first thought, too, but I'm guessing it means the courthouse was built in 1846, because, yeah, no cars in 1846. 😀
I think that's the date the courthouse was built? I was just filming stuff and didn't really think about the date and the cars.
I love your music choices when you are riding the motorcycle!
We have stayed in Circus CIrcus in Vegas twice. It's simply a large parking lot with hookups. Also has a pool. It wasn't bad except for temps over 100.
Thank you for the tour ,loved the cars ,again great video ,we seeing through your eyes(Camera)
Love your pink glasses. Great video, like the part of the casino area.
Based on the cars I'd say the picture was 100 years off. Love you both.
1846 must be the date the courthouse was built, so that was my bad. I was just filming stuff and didn't really put two and two together about the date and the cars. 😳
Looks like it says circa 1935 in the bottom right corner.

A hundred grand seems like a GREAT deal for that Motorhome set.

I really love Tara's dance routine that was hilarious 👍👍👍🤣👍👍👍

Brought back some good memories as I lived in S. Reno for 4yrs when I was flying a Corporate Jet.
The GSR had the best buffet in town. !

That picture of the cars in front of the court house has the wrong date. Cars in 1846? Love watching you guys!
Yes! The first car patent was in the 1870s. I laughed when Chad said that. Maybe the courthouse was built in 1846?
1846 must be the date the courthouse was built, so that was my bad. I was just filming stuff and didn't really put two and two together about the date and the cars. 😳

there is a very nice RV park just in OLK (EXIT 1) on I-35 coming out of Dallas TX.... Fun Town RV Park at WinStar
We thoroughly enjoyed this video. Doreen and I hope to make the trip from the East coast one day. Looks like a great place to visit. Thanks for producing such wonderful content!
Awesome adventure! Great video. Now I gotta add this spot to the bucket list !
Diesel prices are going to kill this whole RV thing, unfortunately. I have one, and it is bolted to the ground now.
