- Today I am gonna show you the entire Roblox Camping Timeline The games in the Timeline are Mansion, Hotel, Camping, Camping 2, Camping 3. This video will show you the full story of events that happened in these games. I hope you enjoy the video! And the Camping timeline isn't really that complex lol. I had a theory where the people from mansion survived “zach” after he followed them home because Limbo never attacks the family but they do attack the geusts this might be because Limbo (Emma) remembers them from when they were in “zach’s” house she remembers sending them to the dungeon and when seeing they escaped she tried to finish what she started.
I mean Emma cant do anything in Mansion she doesn't have her body yet. Like the obvious reason why Zach would kill the guests is cuss he doesn't want people to know or have the cops called on him

Gameplay wise, Mansion is the worst. It’s quite short, only one ending, not very challenging. But, story wise, I have to say Camping 3 is quite terrible. I think the Cannibalism thing was actually the nicest thing about that game, as it provided shock value. There shouldn’t have been any kind of redemption arc for Zach, he was a serial killer. Yes, grief makes people do terrible things, and I can understand wanting vengeance on Nightmare’s family for killing his daughter. But the fact that he came after the guests in mansion, camping 2 and camping 3 just shows how psychopathic he truly is. Once he killed the family is where it should’ve ended, he’s got his revenge. He killed the people who caused him misery, him continuing to kill undeserving people shows he just wants to see other people suffer. People like that literally can’t be redeemed. A simple sorry isn’t going to make him a normal person, he is still a psychopath. He will not change his ways just because he got closure, he wouldn’t save the people he endangered. It’s not a coming to the light kind of thing, it just isn’t. Also, the whole reviving thing kinda shows that Samson took a lazy way out in story writing. He could’ve come up with something much better, like changing up the ending in Camping 2 to support the story of Camping 3.
Dude I agree with you! Yeah I think Sam probably rushed the story of camping 3 since he took 6 months off and when he started working on it he rushed it. Though I do know he had the idea of Snowy place that has a Cabin for at least a year but it seems like he rushed the story. The gameplay was at least good. But yeah I agree with your Comment.
@@TwistedEgg totally, the gameplay was good compared to the other games. I really liked it, but the story just was a bit lacking ya know. Maybe in the future, he could remake the game at his own pace so he won’t rush through the writing process.
He did sacrifice himself to save Daniel and the guests at the end though.

Small theory: I'm thinking that Daniel is a relative of the son. Maybe he is an uncle, and the son didnt save you in camping 2 because you killed Daniel.

The son's name was never specified and notice how they got the same haircut. Daniel could be the son and the monster could be one of his spirits. Bad theory but im guessing.

I knew it
I have a lot of respect for the creator of the Camping series. It started off as a basic format for multiple horror story games and let me tell ya, the VAST majority of those games are terrible with their stories, gameplays and visuals. Camping is mostly high quality and I’ve enjoyed my time with all games. Their variety of endings, Easter eggs through every game and compelling characters is what makes me comeback to these games fondly, but here I’m going to rank all games from worst to best.
5. Mansion
Gameplay wise this is by far the worst one, in my opinion the neighborhood segment was pretty cute but thats where the game peaked. I like how you can see the families house and what they did to Zach Logans daughter, and we see how Zach has gone completely insane and wasn’t to avenge his daughter by killing the entire family. The game isn’t challenging surprisingly very linear and short despite the game being called “mansion” and it only has one ending. The pacing is pretty short too, the spider segment just exists as patting. And the maze isn’t polished with Zach’s character getting stuck making the intense final moment anti climatic. Overall the story was fine with lots of lore and questions answered and we see Zach’s motive. But that’s it
4. Camping 3
I don’t think a third camping game was needed but visually this game is actually pretty good, its a nice change of pace from the woods to the mountains. We got a fanf ripoff for a villain and Zach redeeming himself was certainly not needed, after killing his family he just kills whoever and people like him don’t deserve second chances. And writing Zach back to life is pretty lazy. And There’s no tie from what I can see that that links this game to the others. The cannibal thing is the only memorable part of the game for me but ehh kinda weird. I don’t have much to say but like the gameplay was fine and the story is awful.
3. Camping
Ahh yes the one that started it all. It’s ok. First off, the pacing is pretty slow and the environment were in is pretty lacking, There’s no mountains to interesting landmarks to really explore other than the shed and cave but also at night when you get the picnic basket and rescue a kidnapping its actually pretty hard to navigate which i think was intentional. The story was lacking but not bad at all. We’re just camping in the woods where just so happens a family was murdered. I like the twist that it was among the players who poisoned the food. Simple game that could’ve been better but for what it is I enjoyed my time with this one
2. Hotel
It was rough picking between these last two because both of these are amazing! Hotel is pretty cool! I like the families appearance and the sign outside that says “Specky Woods, One mile” or something. The game is pretty short???… But it has fun segments like the cursed parkour, the elevator, the vents. And the boss can be hard if you’re not careful. If you played mansion you can know who the monster is (Zach’s daughter’s spirit) and in the vents there’s a secret ending on Zach spying on them which is pretty freaky. An amazing prequel
1. Camping 2
This game is an amazing sequel and amazing game. The environment is amazing with the river, hiking trail, hilly woods and multiple camping sites. Daniel is a good character and it becomes a mystery on who’s terrorizing the campers. This is a longer game but it makes good use of its time as well with something new happening every night that be the chase the bombs the rain, the hole. And back to the mystery and the first time playing you question who it could be and it adds suspense. And the sons killing of Zach and him being free was kinda cute in an odd way. Overall great game with great characters, story, suspense, and pacing.

ngl camping 3 is a bit random, like why the hell is steve crying? why there's a literal mouse? what happened to zach after the fall? did he survived or did he died? how many area does daniel even got for us to camp? it's just too many unanswered question and they prob should change the story rather than just make all of these unanswered question become too more confusing...

Steve was scared wasn’t he
1. Steve got attacked, probally by Emma, and his Crying brought Zach's attention.
2. Emma Somehow Created the Mouse and Zach possesed it.
3. He died, it's obvious.
4. Probally only 2.
5. It's a horror game + Roblox is for all ages, i don't think you've ever Played Identity or Labyrinth.

the only thing that doesnt make sense to me is how zach died in the ending of camping 2, but then was the main antagonist in camping 3, while being alive

FULL SUMMARY OF THE STORY:
The Nolan family (Jack and his daughter, Emma) live happy lives alongside another family (consisting of a father and mother and their son and daughter). One day, tragedy occurs and the Father accidentally runs over Emma Nolan. He is not sent to jail for the accidental murder. It is clear to the entire neighborhood that Jack hasn’t been the same since his daughter died.
Jack decides to invite the entire neighborhood to his mansion in a plot to murder the Family that took his daughter away from him. He’s also been plotting to bring his daughter back to life somehow, but his efforts have failed so far. When the Family doesn’t show, he’s furious and decides to murder the guests instead. They manage to escape, but he ambushes them in their own homes and takes their lives.
From this point on, Jack takes on the name of Zach.
Emma Nolan may not have been revived, but that doesn’t mean she’s not still around. Instead, her soul has taken on another form, a monster by the name of “Limbo”. Limbo tries to murder the Family when they visit the Gloomo Hotel on the way to a camp site. She fails, though, and there are no mortalities except for the hotel receptionist.
The following day, the Family heads to Specky Woods to camp. However, Zach Nolan kills all of them except the brother, who manages to escape, transforming into the monster, “Nightmare”.
Nightmare tries to protect a new set of campers in the forest by attacking their traitor. It’s misinterpreted as an assault, but he is only trying to eliminate the evil in their midst. However, when the sun rises, he ultimately decides to kill all of them in a last ditch attempt to save the forest.
Zach Nolan has broken out of prison. Even though he has gotten what he wanted, he still is chasing after death due to his own bloodlust. He attacks another camp in the woods, but ultimately fails and is murdered in cold blood by Nightmare.
Limbo uses the tools her father had used for herself to revive her father. It works, and he is brought back to life. Zach terrorizes another batch of campers with Limbo’s help. He is never truly satisfied. His nonstop murders cause the Family’s spirits to rise. The Father apologizes for what he’s done in a last ditch attempt to stop Zach from committing any more atrocities. He accepts, but does not truly apologize for his own actions. Nevertheless, Zach’s last moments are him atoning for his deeds, and he dies falling off a cliff trying to save the campers he almost murdered.
Zach was still never truly forgiven. Limbo and Nightmare still wander the mortal world. But at least now, there’s peace. Maybe now everyone can truly pass on.

In the secret ending of 'Hotel' Zach was actually stalking the family so he could pinpoint were there going.
Theory: The next game may be about Emma or the character who murdered the campers in the first game 'Camping'.
How to get that secret ending?
I would like the murder go to prision and you need to survive bc the other guys want revenge, so you might survive and you will be the helper of Zach Nolan.

We finally got the full timeline
I believe there might be more to this timeline than just these 5 games.
When Zach Nolan killed the family, only the Son survived while the rest of the family didn’t. However we never got to see how the Son changed into how he looked in Camping 1.
This is where I feel like the events of the “Airplane” story game series by the group “Ponchokings,” specifically “Airplane 3,” would fit into the timeline. In “Airplane 3,” we see how the antagonist, Ronald, became the monster that would later be seen in Airplane 1 and Airplane 2. I like to think that Ronald in Airplane 3 was an older version of the Son from Hotel. What we see happening to Ronald (him becoming the monster) in one of the endings of Airplane 3, in my opinion, ties that game pretty well into the Camping timeline, as it could fill in this gap of how the Son changed into his scary-looking form (all black, bloody teeth, white eyes). Not to mention that the monster that Ronald became looks somewhat similar to the Son, with the only difference being that his eyes are red, not white.
I dont think that Airplane and camping share the same universe, BUT ID LOVE TOO! Nice theory!

Here's my theory of why The son aka The nightmare Has a Black skin. Everytime he apeared (except for The reveal scene) he was hanging. Which leaves me to believe that The son commited suicide before The events of camping. However he was missing. And here is why his body is like that. What I think happened is that he made a campfire under a tree. And on the same tree he hanged himself and the fire did it's work. However, his soul is still stuck on the ground. Unable to go to afterlife.
Theres exacly no edvidence to support that, sorry.
Actually it is unkown if Zach survived the fall. I believe that Zach is alive due to him falling into water… What do you guys think?

5. Mansion. I was very disappointed with this game. It was the first prequel and at first I had no clue how it pertained to camping. It just felt like a very generic story and I don't know about you but I just feel like the ending was so stupid.
4. Camping 3
While the gameplay is amazing, the story is very lazy. There is a way I can tell that the story is lazy and that is the shock factor. When a creator realizes the story is lazy, they will add a shocking moment that they hope will make people forget about the story. The shock factors here were the death of park ranger Steve and the cannibalism. Just a very bad story.
3. Camping
The first game and you can tell. It is very slow paced and kind of boring in a sense. This was the first game so I'm not gonna be a jerk about it, but they could have made it a little more entertaining. But the story is good. The gameplay is slow, though.
2. Hotel
This is the prequel that mansion tried to be but 1000 times better. This is not the most original story but it is made and executed a lot better. The gameplay is also a lot better. You actually get to meet the family that Zach killed and the it plays much more into the story of camping then mansion ever did. Great game but there is one other game that I think is even better.
1. Camping 2
This is one of my favorite roblox games ever. The story is fantastic and so is the gameplay. I knew Zach Nolan was crazy, but this games story really made me see the true psychopath in him. This game also gives you my favorite twist in the entire franchise. The twist is that nightmare is actually the son in the family that Zach killed and went missing. I don't have anything else but this is a phenomenal game.
I mostly agree with you but I would personally rank camping 3 above camping 1 since I think gameplay is more important than the story and I find it more fun to replay than the original camping. Btw hotel was the first prequel not mansion still a good list.
@@TwistedEgg I think there was also some wasted potential in camping 3 like when we go to the mine and all we do is eat somebody and escape a snowstorm. What aggravates me about that is you can't introduce it at the beginning like it is important and then we only use it to run into daniel by chance and then never go in it again.

Well, I got a theory. What if Nightmare and The Son are different characters. Because The Son is more calm while Nightmare is more aggressive. We know this because The Son has white eyes while Nightmare has red eyes, and yes they both have a wooden leg but maybe they lost their legs in different ways like Nightmare was fighting Limbo than she summoned a blade and chopped of Nightmare's leg. So The Son and Nightmare are different characters who died at different points of the timeline. So Nightmare might be Steve's ghost or a demon summoned by DamsonXVI to save the group from dying.
You could speculate it as such...or it's simply just a face update as 'Nightmare and 'The Son' both had these same faces in the early release.

Simple answer. Nightmare and son are the same people. Samson used scp 087 b for the son's face and got copyright trouble so he had to re draw it. Then put it on the son's face.

After the death of Jack Logan, the many characters leave the scene, leaving the camping 3 group alone. Park ranger Daniel gets out of the minecart and looks at you. "Tonight had been a fateful night, we can agree," he said. You and the rest of the group slowly hop out of the minecart, all of you guys cold at that winter night. You and the group decide to sleep in the lodge, but many couldn't sleep.
Your dream started out like this: You are on a pillar, standing in the middle of darkness. The abyss below you was cold, and deep. A somewhat unfamiliar voice speaks. "Well, well, well. Look who finally decided to show up." The cave of darkest you were standing in shuddered, and you shivered at the cold. "I'm glad you finally decided to meet me in person. It's been a while, [username], a while," the voice said. "You think your little lodge is safe, don't you? Think again, [username]. I'm not dead yet. I'm not in my final form. I suggest you brave yourself..." The voice said. The pillar you're standing on collapses, and you fall into the icy abyss.

It wouldn't make sense and it would be overcomplicating the story. Like its heavily implied in Camping 1 and 2 Just cuss he looks different doesn't mean he isn't the same person. It would make zero sense to make nightmare a different character. Plus Steve crying? idk its just weird

Camping 3 was rushed so I don't doubt he copied the end of a different game and forgot to remove to be continued. Plus its just text on a screen doesn't really confirm anything. Samson would just be wasting his time making Camping 4
Personally, I think the family from Mansion survived and went on to become the people who booked rooms in Hotel. I know the whole Zach being near the house at the ending of Mansion may complicate things but we never really see Zach be able to break in, and if he was able to kill almost the entire neighborhood, he’d be more infamous for that rather than just the family. We can then infer that the group of people who survived Mansion, having felt uneasy after such a scary experience, book a Hotel to get some peace and quiet. This would not only explain why Zach & Emma attack the people at Hotel, but also don’t go after the family at the Hotel either. Their only objective would’ve been to attack to the remaining people who survived at Mansion and wouldn’t have known the Family had even gone out to the Hotel.
So theses are the monsters identity nightmare is the family's son limbo is Zach Nolands daughter mouse is Zach Nolan in a costume Zach Nolan is the original murder from mansion

I have a theory of when it was implied that jack killed all guests of the Neighbourhood, the family of five (the Harenburgs I call them) decided to leave the Neighbourhood, then the guests that were killed in their homes from jack in mansion were kept secret so he could change his identity, (Jack to Zach), So then Meavel Neighbourhood (What I call it) was left haunted by the spirits of the guests, and since then, new arrivals of families showed up in the Neighbourhood, As the old families, they didn’t know what jack is up to, But Zach didn’t have time to hide the Harenburgs, so then he ran away, and he knew that he couldn’t change his identity so then he was arrested.
I also have a theory on the mask,
Before Mansion, (and before emma was killed) one of the families members from the Neighbourhood showed up and gave jack a box of old thing he didn’t need anymore, (including the masks), the guest had 3 of them, and once jack asked about them the guest said “I used to use these when I was a kid for Halloween, they were big for my face, I find them creepy today, So I’ll give it to you, well, you might not use them but you can crush them if you want.) at first jack didn’t know what to do with them, until emma was killed, He found a use for the masks, to hide his face from the guests, So once he ‘checked on dinner’, he put on one of the masks and put the other 2 in his dungeon,
Wait if everyone in mansion was killed... That means Jack killed an entire neighborhood that's a lot
I heard somewhere that their last name is Douglass, but Harenburgs sounds funnier.
What I think is that once the group from hotel survive they go camping after [insert time since hotel] as like a therapy session type thing after what they saw, so then Zach knows about the group knowing too much and then hires a assassin to kill them because of what they saw, it works but he still wants revenge for some reason on a new group, so he bust out of jail, he knew he was going to be found so he hires someone to do the work for him it works but the son is still out there….
I do have a theory of why in camp and one of the ending that one of them was actually murder do you anything I can think of that it was an assassin hired Zach Nolan that was hired to kill anyone Who got too much information about the murder.
I cant be the only one who thinks this game series is amazing

Fune fact to the story : Son presumably commited suicide after the death of his family. Cause whenever he apears (except for the reveal scene in camping 1) he apears hanging. That's why his body is black, it's like, his soul is stuck on the ground. But why is his body like that? Well Maybe he made a campfire before his death under a tree or something and he hanged himself burning his body so that no one can find him.

I hate Camping 3. Someone said “VOTE CATSO” when i was in the eat other ppl part. They listened, and ate me. I tried to revive with 20 robux at the last second, and it didnt work. It scammed me.
Is it me or did camping lose all of its magic over the years, I recently replayed through all of them and for most of them it was pretty unenjoyable and not like how I rememberd them. The games just feel so much more bad quality now, and a whole lot less scary. I dont know if I just grew up and realized therefore I dont feel how I used to or if these games were always like this.
Because there’s probably newer games with better quality in them, after we get used to the quality of games like doors, apeirophobia and other games, camping just feels like a low quality game
But idk if it’s just me

You see? If you help a family or something they would probably save you too and if you forgive someone they would most likely forgive you too. Later then would probably save your life since you technically saved their life. If you weren't there the son would have just gotten revenge and kill them.

you know how the head of the monster from hotel was in mansion? well i think that the people survived the attack but when emma gets rebuilt she goes to the hotel to find the family and remembers throwing the others in the dungeon and tries to kill them
also to survive the son hid in a well and then climbed out found the family and then out of grief locked himself in a shed and then when you go in the camp he breaks out and kidnaps the last player but then they force him to kill the others
the ending where you stand on a grey pillar
The mansion guests survive there is no logical conclusion for them dying

How emma was limbo:after we escaped mansion zach decided to make a robot,emma came out and wear it he didn notice it was emma wearing it,emma was quiet and zack told limbo to go in the hotel,zack was stalking the family,and limbo is attacking them
Hotel:the survivor decided to stay in the hotel so they can stay safe,and something seem wrong...[Skip]and we got send into a cursed basement,we found a dead body and then....[skip]after we had a boss fight the police came zach was at the window floor 2 watching us....
Missed point: Jack didn't decide to build a robot AFTER they escaped Mansion, if you look closely, in the scene where Emma's ghost shows up in Mansion, next to her chest there are some black and red metal parts, and those are parts of Limbo. That's also why Emma's body and chest even are there, because Jack was already building a robot, and he planned to, yeah yk, make it Emma's new body

I don’t think Mansion is the first one, I think Hotel is the first one because in Hotel the family of five were going on a camping trip after hotel ends the family leave to go camping after that Mansion is the next one, and the only reason why I think Mansion is second is because when your inside of your house you can see the news of the TV Stating that a girl has been Killied and her death was caused by a car accident and the person who was driving was the father of the Family of five and the Father and his Family Were on there way to go camping and then he hit the girl Emma Logan

Cause we can see The family in the house and the news happened much earlier, not to mention that The soul of Emma is inside Limbo, so that means it's after Emma's death, and Emma's death was mentioned in Mansion. And in the secret ending of hotel, it's revealed that Zack is already The killer.
Emma should just revive zach again
For me, WE, players are not the protagonists, the game tries to tell zack history, not ours. We die in Mansion and camping, thats important? Well, after Mansion zack became a serial killer, so its more important to the lore, but what about camping 1? The ending is NOTHING to the history.
Another thing that id like to talk about is the mirror "JUMPSCARE" we see in camping 2. That can be the game telling us that we died at camping 1, now its another characters, but they still arent Very relevant.

This story, although not perfect, is still one of the better Roblox Horror Story games out there. The Camping Series wasn't perfect, but it was still much better than the garbage games we have now.

Why doesn’t the police or authorities know anything about the monsters, Zach Nolan, the murders in that town I mansion and etc??? What did we tell the police, to come because of a monster then they wouldn’t have came because “monsters aren’t real”. What did the helicopter see when it finally came, the only reason we went to the roof is to get to the helicopter, did they see limbo or did she already leave, but then we would of seen her going down to the exit to leave, was that underground secret room a exit somewhere? I have so many questions if you have answers please tell me in the replies
