11 years later and this is the best video. The model I bought this week is exactly the same. It's crazy to think that this guy's kids are teenagers now.
The paper instructions are very vague and the pictures not the most accurate, much prefer the video.

Can’t believe a 9yr old video helped me do this. The toy’s paper instructions are too noisy and all over the place. You killed it man! They upgraded the toy by adding a powered dashboard but that just goes in last and it’s a lock and go just like the seat. Thank you man!

They should just pull off. The metal has a ball end. And you just pull, but be careful to not break them.
so i forgot to put the little bushings in and forgot the bushing piece. anyone know how to get those things off?
The rear axle was actually more difficult than shown. It’s hard to hammer the second red cap on because the end of the metal rod has too much wiggle room. Thankfully, Radio Flyer gives an extra red cap, in case you damage one.

Sir, I am redoing an old pedal tryke for my granddaughter. All primed, painted and assembled. The "rub" now is the right rear wheel will not travel freely on the axle like the left one. The right one appears to be affixed to the axle permentantly with an end clip that I could not remove while other end stays in place with a plastic cap with metal "teeth" to grasp the axle. Any thoughts on how I can get that side to spin freely on the axle like the other one? Thanks in advance. Bill
Thank you for this video. How do get the pedal off the pedal shaft? I tried setting up a Model 79 and slid in the pedal shaft into the wheel wrongly. I can't remove the pedal to correct my mistake.
+Michael Imomoh the easiest would be to use vise grip and or pliers, or if you have a stationary vise

They shouldn’t make these so hard to assemble- I didn’t have a drill on hand and I sat here for over an hour trying to get those screws in. They are still only half way in 😩!!
Any tips on fixing the pedal on one of these? When my son tried to pedal the wheel doesn't move. We've had this bike for about year now. Thanks!
The pedal should be loose and free spinning, try pushing the pedal on farther
