Hopesfall you changed my life. I played in a band for 5 years, inspieated by your music. We released 3 albums and became first post hardcore band in Russia. Now I am 34, my kids adore you music and my only dream is to see you live sometime. Hope you will stay together long time. From Russia with love!
whats the name of your band dude?

Jay Forrest is one of my favorite vocalists of all time! Happy to see him set free rocking out again!
I never hear anyone talk about their drummer. The cat is a monster.
Adam Morgan is a monster and a legend!!
My dad always plays me Indignation and the Rise of The Arbiter and tells me I should learn it to advance it drums, the drummer is definitely a monster and i huge inspiration for me.
@@inactive-u6j It's a really fun song to play once you get it down, the verse parts on the first half of the song especially. It took me a while to get it down too, I honestly just replayed the first 30 seconds over and over and air drummed to it a ton to learn the basic pattern.
God tier drummer that adam mo
He aight
they sound so good for a bunch of 40 year olds! it's like the boys never left.
This video and the new glassjaw live video are all I've been watching for days

So many feels. I remember being a teenager, looping all day one of the most important albums that changed my life, The Satellite Years. So many good memories from simpler times. Video games, Playing guitar with shitty amps and multi-effects, messing around on myspace, going to local shows, discovering myself, just living the youth. The A-types and Magnetic North days I enjoyed a lot too, all the way until 2010's. Really love seeing this band reunited after all this time, wish I could see them live someday (if you're reading this Hopesfall, come to Europe).

Playing the satellite years on loop while being a teenager is so me right now
It will never STOP being funny how hopesfall continues to give a big middle finger at Trustkill all these years later by playing "Saskatchewan" live. That was literally the band's favorite song off Magnetic North and Trustkill just removed it from the original pressing without even telling the band.
I was at the Hopesfall show when they announced that they had signed to Trustkill here in Charlotte, the original Hopesfall. I prefer Jay and everything that changed but I respect the original Hopesfall as well. Trustkill can rot in hell.
I am currently playing with Jason (the Magnetic north drummer) and I heard all the Trustkill horror stories. Saskatchewan was one of my favorite jams of that session. Magnetic North is one of my all time favorite LP’s. Arbiter is right behind it.
I purchased an import copy of Magnetic North with Saskatchewan as a bonus track since that is what Trustkill did....off of discogs. Trustkill...Killtrust...
Trustkill used to be an awesome label. In the early days I guess. Alot of the cds they put out are still some of my favorites. Been a long ass time since they put anything good out! Which is sad 😪
Robby Post - I remember that! Me an my buddy made sure to save copies of the other songs that didn’t make it on!!! I stopped having anything to do with trustkill after that, Hopesfall was the only reason I even looked at anything from trustkill
Only the clouds is so refreshing to hear again live..
What a perfect way to start a show! April left with silence! Been a Hopesfall fan for 19 years now, it is impossible to get tired of their songs.
Can’t express how overjoyed I am about not only their return but Ryan’s. Jesus I missed his playing..
One of my favorite videos on TH-cam for the last 2 years. Incredible show.
My first emocore/emo/hardcore show back in the day was Hopesfall, Beloved, and Codeseven back in '01 at Tremont. I'm from Charlotte and watched these guys in their prime. Been hooked ever since. Beloved and Hopesfall have a quality I've never found in any other bands. So grateful I was able to be a part of the Charlotte scene back then. 💙
First hopesfall show I went to was in Raleigh, I think. Back in '01 with beloved and furtherseemsforever, just the singer, on a bar stool. @ the college cafe, not sure who pulled the fire alarm...lol good times.
RIP Tremont Music Hall. I miss seeing Beloved play live...
Agree, Beloved and Hopesfall by far my favorite bands from this era and to this day. I don't think anything else has been produced yet with such unique sound, depth, vocals and breakdowns.
@@dontletyourscenedown RIP. Now we're stuck with the fillmore. Although Amos' Southend is supposed to come back next spring.
Altoid 84 I still have my first pressing of Beloved’s The Running EP on CD and the t-shirt that I purchased so many many years ago.
Incredible set list, this is a real treat. I love that they are still playing stuff off of No Wings To Speak Of. A lot of bands disregard their old stuff almost completely but this is a fantastic blending of all their albums and styles. Also love that they still do that extended outro on “Waitress”. Truly fantastic.
Their old stuff is their good stuff
Satellite years is also good.
@@BirdOfHermes83 satellite years is fantastic...it's after that....well
All their stuff is the good stuff
you dudes got me thru my first and second tour in Iraq, please come to Dallas TX.
one of the best shows I have ever been to...it was surreal.
Words cannot describe how happy I am to see this band back together performing both new and old material. Thank you so much for filming this.
Please never stop.
Thank god for Hopesfall...
Crazy. He sounds exactly like he did in 20 years ago. Hopesfall rules
I can't tell you how much Hopesfall means to me and how moved I just was watching the favourite songs of my youth being belted out like it was yesterday, reliving the same emotions that came with them. I'm a wreck after viewing that. Can't imagine what it must have been like to be there. I can't even blink. Thank you.
Welcome back Hopesfall
I wish I could have made it to this show. I love Hopefall so much. No Wings To Speak Of and The Satellite Years are two of the most important albums I've ever owned (and still do). I hope they do more shows in the future but I am at least thankful such a great version of this one was recorded.
True shit man. That's how I describe my teenage years, when I was becoming myself. They had huge impacts on me. A lot of bands from that era did, but not like hopesfall. I would throw BTBAM's self titled in with satellite years also.
@@DestructoSpin87 I just saw them in the fall. Almost every song they played was over 10 minutes long lol
There were awesome but I wanted to hear some old songs. I fucking love the silent circus!
This was the Saturday show. I was at the Friday night show. I drove 3.5 hours to make it to Brooklyn. It was magical! Adam Morgan is the sweetest guy ever!
Holy moly. Saskatchewan live. This is, in my opinion, their most influential track for me (aside from end of an era/bending). The whole drama about not releasing this amazing song baffles me. Thank you boys for getting back together. NWTSO really hooked me in and I've still been listening to you guys weekly/monthly through all the years. A heartfelt thank you to you old SOBs.
Jesus they are really good live
Holly fucking shit! This is making me cry... Old and good fucking times and remembrance of this beautiful and real genre.
I was there that night! Incredible show from them as always. I hope they tour again. Their first 2 albums are imbedded in my DNA. They have grown so much over the years even risking their sound but Arbiter (their newest album) is so layered and really shines. If you play guitar you should check out their albums...It’s incredible guitar driven music.
Never seen .hopesfall. live. .. one of my favorite bands since 2003. I love these guys. Perfect mix of hardcore and melody. Man crush on Jay Forrest! Great screams and a great singing voice. REUNITE!
The band's music is very beautiful
One of the best live performances I've ever heard.
I keep coming back to this. ONLY THE CLOUDS
...and the 7th day, He created the .hopesfall.
Its good to hear you again!
Saw them at the Fireside Bowl in Chicago back in like 03 or around that year...man we're getting old fast.
That show is on my channel dude
@@RedMachineKieran I know, I watched it lol. Who else played that show? I think I went to see someone else.
I first saw them when they were touring for satellite years with Nora and every time I die. Karl from nora was selling Ferret record cds there. Most I've ever spent at a show ever!
I keep coming back to this video
Awesome hearing Saskatchewan live. I remember back in the old TH-cam days Adam Morgan has that song posted on his channel. I messaged him if he had an mp3 of it so I could put it on my iPod. He actually emailed me the mp3. That was very cool of him. I’m glad they put that song on the vinyl release.
Which is crazy cuz at that point Adam was a dude that hung around the band but not in it lol
please stream the other albums on spotify
.hopesfall. the greatest space rock band of all time. YES I SAID IT
Sorry but not even close. That distinction belongs to the almighty HUM and Failure.
@@NotAnemia congrats no. Hopesfall was a crappy metalcore band and they went spacey after hearing HUM and then tried to copy them. Lol.
@@NotAnemia you really got me.
I haven't felt this way about music in such a long time. Happy you're back.
Glad Saskatchewan is on Deezer! Just found this band couple months ago and listen to them every day since.
I've missed these guys so much!
Awesome! Thanks for recording this Kerrang
Had to find my Hopesfall blue Track Jacket and restarted this.. So Stoked your touring again. From So Cal.. so many shows from the high desert of cali, showcase Corona, Soma in San Diego. And on and On. Awesome. Peace from JD.
However I did just go see Between The Buried And Me live last night in Detroit, MI. Another awesome band from North Carolina.
Thank you to KERRANG! for giving us a video of this amazing show. I wasn't able to attend but appreciative that there is a nice video of it. Hopesfall has been my favorite band for 20 years (since THE FRAILTY OF WORDS).
Thanks again.

Welcome back boys - so good to have you making music again. Those vocals give me goosebumps.
Funeral for a friend, hopesfall, underoath and fightstar great band rock ever
Thank you so much for this video ❤️
Imagine how awesome it would be if they came out and opened with "Andromeda", segued into "Aphelion" and *then* kicked into the actual songs..
Prettybrokenspiral goosebumps
I never actually heard them play Andromeda live
I always wonder if the reason they never really play Andromeda or Redshift is because Ryan wrote them
So fucking grateful for this. Had a rough couple years, Arbiter and this are helping me find the light I lost in my 20’s. Thank you Hopesfall!
56:25 takes me away. One of the most beautiful breaks I've ever heard.
This band has given me hope since 2001...
Omg they're tight!
41:06 such a beautiful touch
the little melodie he plays before they go into the end part of the bending.. incredible man.. SO good to see them play this, everyone here is on point!
This is an amazing live show, but right around 55:44 is when I start losing what little is left of my mind...
Listened to the entire Hopesfall Discography yesterday. Doesn't let down once.
Thats all I came to say.
Saskatchewan live.. the unicorn has been found
hopesfall2win i follow your channel. Good stuff man.

Hearing/watching Hopesfall play Saskatchewan live in Charlotte made my life complete.
I'm from Saskatchewan!! Awesome song!
In the bending after the breakdown what are the lyrics? ‘Something’ best kept secret? In other version with Ryan on guitar Ryan is saying ‘youre my best kept secret’ been confused for almost 20 years now
Welcome back hopesfall !! El Paso, Tx
jesus jesse if only they’d come play here
Rene Fierro . Been waiting to tour somewhere near since 2000. Its so rare to find people in EP who like hopesfall. People always tell me they never heard of them. They are one of the greatest bands out there.
@@jesusjesse7407 trust me.. even back when. People missed them.. like How¿.. But it happened.. some of the most Real Bands came thru So Cal. And then we were flooded my poser bands. Lots of them.. fashion core.. cookie cutter acts with some how more fans and B.S. social media is a cruel mistress. These guys just played and toured.. hope I can see them again. Peace
Amazing!!!
This is fantastic. Wish I could have been there. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks... Very Nice!
From Brazillll
so glad to see them back
OH my HEART!!! 💚💚💚 this band was such a colossal inspiration!!! My an my best friend started a band we never played anywhere just practiced an wrote! But you could tell from the way the songs where built we where heavily inspired by these guys. We were talking of about planning to see these guys live right before we got the news that they were breaking up, so glad they are back an creating new music again 💚💚💚
It's the best video of my life. Plz come to Korea.
That snare fckn cuts through so nicely..
Oh my fucking Shit, Hopesfall is my favorite band without question... Makes me happy to see this.
band is in a great shape! Saw them here in Brazil a few years ago and it was awesome!
Best thing ever
Keep it comin' Hopesfall! Come to Portland OR sometime! You've inspired me to start my own space rock band.
So good, keeping these vocals on point! So much memories from Only the Clouds
I really wish their sets over the last year or so included more A Types and Magnetic North tracks. Shit, most of the sets are 80% TSY and just have a track, maybe two from Arbiter. They've got such an incredible catalog and every record has such a different sound and is packed with fucking bangers. I will pay them boys directly to hear East Of 1989 live
North Carolina represent . Now if Beloved would make a comeback this strong....
Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
@@Roboturnin87 Lets start the hype right now. BELOVED...if youre listening/reading, do the right thing and make a epic comeback record.
'FAILURE ON' IN ITS ENTIRETY!
Then sprinkle on whatever bonus songs at the end.
@@LaQueefahJones damn... You called it
Holy shit. I've been searching on and off for the first song for years. I had it on a burnt CD of Napster downloads but it was accredited to a different band with a different title.
The Bending just about the most perfect song to ever exist. Not a bad note in it. Hope they come to Aus!
This band shaped my early teenage years. Im fuckin 30 now! So good to see them back!
Oh noooo... how did I miss this
You remember when most of these bands were formed they were in their early to mid 20's like post college age....thats how you remember them, then you see them in their late 30's with kids and famlies and careers
this is awesome
My BEST Band !!!! Thank you Hopesfall
This is just the in between the point where worries can shatter dreams. This is that look like I'm going to throw it all away. This is infatuations best kept secret. And those are those hovering eyes that glide and glare.
So not another word in this conscious bending conversation.
I'll find it before I revolve around the tips of their tongues.
Grazie mille...!!!
remembering my college years

Mega feels on this: satellite years and no wings left to speak are two
Of my favorite albums ever ... and - to be fair - the new album
Is surprisingly impressive. Good to have Hopesfall back :)
Nice to see Ryan’s back too. Josh and Adam are obviously hopesfall for me personally but it’s great to see them still creating beautiful stuff.
Failure- fantastic planet, hum you'd prefer an Astronaut and hopesfall the satellite years are my top fav albums. Matt talbot did a solid job on the satellite years!
Still my favorite band after 15 years
Beautiful! thanks guys!
thanks for posting!
i remember chilling on streets from braizl, smoking weed and lissing to hopesfall on my mp3.....
Fan since 2011. Mag north is my fav second is the new one. Third - satellite years
Such a great fucking band. Got into them with A Types and been hooked ever since. I loved Magnetic North and Arbiter is amazing
HUGE respect for my boys playing with such a limp crowd. That shit wouldn't happen in NC.
First Glassjaw and now Hopesfall outta nowhere!! Good to have the boys back
Zach Rollins man, feel the same. My two best bands) cheers from Russia)
