I never tried it, now since this video a friend of mine has designed and created tumbler shields, silicone shields that can be used for painting and epoxy! Www.tumblershields.com
So I got spray paint on the inside of my cup because I hold it by the palm and I didn’t think to tape it off how do I get the paint from inside I don’t have alcohol so what would be another alternative
Good idea. As for protecting your hand, you could always do like I do, use an extension wand to keep my hand a foot away from the cup. Just a coupler and a foot of PVC.
I've been doing the same thing basically for a year now. Instead of a Dixie cups, I use a Dollar Tree white tumbler to go inside and my handle is much longer so I don't get as much paint on my hands.
Hi Heather! I have watched all your videos, they are so to the point and informative! Thank you. I'm getting ready to place my first order with the stainless depot and want to be sure to mention you referred me. She should know what a fantastic job you do recommending her cups. Not to mention, I'm all about a discount...:) Thanks again for all the tips, ideas and entertainment.
After spray painting it is there any necessary Finnish sealer or anything like that. Just like glitter cups have epoxy do the spray painted cups have anything?
First of all: I’ve missed you!!! Secondly: I love this tip! I purchased silicone inserts because I am impatient and spray heavy. I like the cup idea a lot more & I can spray a crap ton more at a time! Thanks Sister!
Hi love watching you. So I went to order glitter and of course your out of everything especially that nature copper, champagne, pink colored one you had on your other page. How much glitter does it take to do a 20oz or 30oz tumbler. I would really like to try something like yours in that color scheme
Heather, you have inspired me so much! I love your creations! I have made so many tumblers following your videos! I just wanted to say thank you! I am having so much fun! I haven’t been able to get any of your glitters yet, I try but, when I get online they are always sold out! Lol! I will continue to try, eventually I’ll get them! Haha!
Hi I've sent two emails about pricing for the parts for your multi cup Turner's and looking at this all your videos are like a month old I was wondering if you guys are still doing that and if so if I could get that information thank you bye
Lather Soap yes we certainly are. Please forgive us as we get VERY busy. Trying to do all of this and run a household with children etc. can be daunting sometimes. Please have patience. What is your email you have been sending to me? I don't recall "Lather Soap"
I love your videos. I am wondering if you can do do a wine bottle glittered and epoxyed. I am trying to figure out how to really do it for bridesmaids gifts as a DIY!!! Please! Lol
OMG Heather....the awesome things you think of. Thank you for that because just finished I using acetone to clean epoxy and paint from the inside of my wine glasses 😂🤦🏽♀️🙄
Stacee do you do the same for a spray painted tumbler to clean the inside of it? Is it still save to drink out of? Its my 1st time spray painting a tumbler. Thanks!
Hey Heather I just started doing cups and someone wants on with wood grain and a photograph they took on it. Is it possible to do that and if it is how would you go about it please :-D
I save my 32 oz. drink cups from McDonalds or wherever and I have an old board I set them on to spray paint. Same idea, I’m just not holding the cup. Go idea tho.

Great idea! I put my tumbler on the cups from fast food joints on a lazy susan and spray, works great too. Thanks for sharing.
You are a genius! This works soooo well. Thank you for always trouble shooting and coming up with great ideas.

I've been ready to start making tumblers but don't like the idea of chemicals getting inside. This is genius!

Do you need to sand these tumblers first if you use resin?
How do you get the spraypaint off the rim.
Niceeeee love this idea.. how do you keep your paint from bubbling or orange peel

And when do you do live
Is it safe to drink from after you paint it
Can you use that same solo cup to apply the epoxy to the cup that way the cup stays clean as well
How long is the drying time after spray painted?
Hey Heather! How cool is that?!! ; ) A lil bit of brainstorming pays off girlie! Hugs from Texas!! xx : )
Genius!! I’ve been dealing with this so much lately! Thank you for the tip!!

Brilliant Heather! Such a time saver.
How do u put the football on PVC. I cut the top of my football and shoved onto PVC and my football tore. 🏈
How do you get rid of those bubbles from spraying too much in that area????
Samantha gonzales yes i would love to hear your advice on this!
Great tip! Thanks x
Best idea yet. Gotta try this

FeatherBear Designs Ann Velazquez - Thank you not trying to rush you just didn't know if I needed to wait or move on. Still very interest.
where did you get the football arm from?
Debra Tippett we are the creator of the PVC football arm
how can i get one?
I love your videos. I am wondering if you can do do a wine bottle glittered and epoxyed. I am trying to figure out how to really do it for bridesmaids gifts as a DIY!!! Please! Lol
This is brilliant! Thanks for sharing!
What you do if your paint drops how can you fix it?
I just lay mine on a flat surface(old table) with the opening touching the table & works perfect. Nothing needing just lay the cup and spray it 🙂
Just a question, may sound stupid but are these tumblrs used for decorative purposes or to actually used to consume?
Awesome tip...thanks for sharing!
Do u sand your cups before applying spray paint Modge Podge or epoxy
Why do you have to paint the cup?
Heather, please tell me what glue you used to get your footballs to stay on the pipe? I am so frustrated! By the way, you rock!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your secrets! You're amazing! ❤❤❤
What neat tip.. thanks for sharing
Brilliant hack!
Hey Heather, I been looking at your gorgeous glitter but it’s always sold out. Is there a time that you first put it up for sale on Saturday?
This is awesome! Is it really necessary to sand the tumblers before you spray paint?
