- Its an emergency when livestock can't get water. You drop what you are doing to fix it .The one bit of pvc pipe we had in our outdoor irrigation broke. This frozen pipe burst and we have to get water to the livestock. A week of temps between 8-19 degrees was too cold for too long .

Look at Mike all fixing stuff by himself. Good man!
He is handy
Get er done Mike
Atta boy Mike! Jack of all trades. Good temporary job!
It’s Cold outside, stay warm.
One can't have too many pvc fittings!! EVER!!! Wrap them pipes Buddy!!! Pex will freeze, but Isn't supposed to burst like pvc. Love from Alabama... We felt it too!!! Take care
Good luck Mike. Nothing worse than water issues. Take care🇺🇸✌️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you
Pool noodles make excellent pipe insulation....
Always keep pipes dripping in extreme cold
This was the outside irrigation line and it was on but froze anyway
Great job!.. I'm glad you were able to temporarily fix it 💪💕
Me too !
I know you’re feeling Mike. We had two pipes to bust and it took us all day to repair them. We get one fixed and then we would find another place busted.
Such a bummer
Great job
Whoops!! Hate it when that happens!
YE POOL NOODLES FOR INSULATION MIKE 👍👍🥶
You shouldn't use pvc outside. Use 100% pex. Even if pex freezes it won't hurt it.
Fittings can still break
@waynejones5239 so true
Also put a freeze mizer on you faucets at stock water tanks …they work great …. Keeps lines from freezing and keeps water for livestock .
Well I'm glad you're finally dry aging the deer instead of water bath in it, yes you'll have trim off a little busy excess dry from the outside when processing but it makes a good difference on taste and flavor and texture and tenderness so as far as the PVC piece LOL that's a whole different issue
HOW COLD HARDY IS THE LIVESTOCK? JUST CURIOUS?😊
Most livestock is pretty cold hardy but it depends on conditions and the animal too
As long as most have a wind break and bedding to lay on or in they are okay
Never PVC Mike! Always Pex. Even down South. Mother Nature is always in charge brother.
I know 😢
Copper pipe breaks when it freezes long enough here in northern Indiana....I grew up in Texas but have Indiana born and raised parents so I have stories lmao! I feel your pain bud
It's not California dude all you have to do is put a shut off on it right there. And let the water drip in your house and it'll never freeze up simple simple
We get freezes in California too. This was the outside irrigation line and it was one transition. It was on outside put it still froze and cracked apart . It happens .
Dammit cold and plumbing sucks.
Definitely!
I thougght he had a heated jacket.
He does … I think Frankie stole it 😂
@@3MISSISSIPPI i JUST GOT ONE AND LOVE IT.
Water Y'ALL doing
