Brake clean absolutely everything till it’s squeaky clean. Use the best etc u can get, primates ultra or picture or even better is fords proprietary etc they designed under the motor craft brand. I only clamped the inner plate initially, that allows me to trim excess etc away the next day and then repeat with the outer plate.
