That Huayara is a beautiful car! I must say I was not so sure about the design but watching it today my god I got goosebumps.....literally goosebumps and the fact it won was the icing on the cake
Hey Nick, I've got to tell ya, you do a wonderful job reviewing alongside Tiff. Its not just a car "review" like so many of these other videos out there. You can tell that both of you have a real passion for driving and are having a blast doing it. Would like to see you two in more car reviews together!
Great to see Tiff bringing some of his magic into Evo's videos. Evo makes some nice concise and informative vids but they felt pretty dry to watch. Understandable given vids are always regarded as a bonus material, but take a note from Drive and there's so much potential for you guys at Evo.
still one of the best car vids on the web. if anyone knows a channel that does these kinds of battles proper then please let me know. and im reffering mostly to supercars as i know there are many sports car vids like this
I learned from this video that the BMW and MB coupes are over-powered, and that a Boxster can be as good as a base 911. Also, I learned that test driving super cars on a track is super fun. I imagine driving them on public roads would be frustrating, though, since they could only be used at a fraction of their potential, unless the point is to display wealth or to own "the best". Personally, if I had sports car money (which I don't), I'd get a 911 Targa 4s, dark blue--gorgeous.
Just look at the driver's wing mirror on the Huayra @ 10.20, that is a thing of great beauty! Wonderful to see Tiff back too, as others have said. The Huayra is awesome but at less than 25% of the cost you can have a McLaren 12C, an everyday super-car bargain, which now seems to be completely sorted. I'll have the Spider for Christmas please Santa in Fire Black with Alcantara.
I'm not convinced about this. On the Top Gear test track, the Huayra comprehensively blew the competition away. I wonder if they were giving it the full beans or if they backed off due to its astronomical price?
Brought back many happy memories of organising 11 events at Blyton for the West Yorkshire Impreza Owners Club. Many thanks to former Blyton Park custodian Howard Patterson for some of the most fun days of driving I have ever had, enjoyed by often up to 60 people bringing 30+ cars. Not had chance to drive the new circuit yet, but it looks superb, a proper track now instead of the rough old airfield it was.
Pagani reminds me that nothing is impossible! Self taught car designer, self made billionaire. While haters complain about what can't be done and give excuses for why their lives suck, simply does the best he can everyday. Keep the haters out of your life they will only prevent you from achieving your dreams! I am dreaming of a Zonda right now and one of these babies! Go for your dreams you will only get it if you try!
Would have loved to have seen Tiff in the Huayra! Amazing how close the Pagani and McLaren are, considering the extra cost and power of the italian. Imagine how fast the new F1 will be!
I've watched a 45min National Geographic documentary on the development and production of the Hyuara. If you literally have ANY criticisms of the car, it is because you simply do not know anything about it. Horacio Pagani and his team of developers and designers are the da vincis and tesla's of the modern day. Never have I known a car to be so thoroughly built for elegance, beauty, and speed simultaneously. LITERALLY each component of the car was designed do be an art piece as well as having fxn
i feel like the result of the 12c and the huayra would be different if tiff had the traction on. the huayra was on and its only rear wheel drive so i had way more grip, and when the 12c has traction on, there is never slip
I'm shocked the Pagani beat the MP4-12C around the track. What had more fun factor to drive and which one would you rather own, the Pagani or the MP4-12C?
Great video! So the M135i did the same lap time as the Alpina. I didn't expect that. Seems to be a good drivers car but it's a pity that it looks so ugly, especially the front.
Actually the Jalopnik article confuses me. First Pagani said they used Corsas, but then said it was for marketing and they actually used Trofeos instead. Fair enough, but then why does the tire they use for the TG lap not have any sidewall markings (all road legal tires even slicks (eg:pilot sport cups) must have them) and look totally different from the Trofeo shown on the Pirelli site? It's strange. Hope it's cleared up soon.
How to compare 2 cars laptime with different class of driver? Tiff is a way lot better driver than Meaden is. Did the drivers switch thier cars after finished the laps?
For comparative purposes, I wonder how a current 2012MY (2013MY in the USA) Nissan GT-R would perform...and of coursed the newly released 2013MY (2014MY in the USA) GT-R with even greater speed, acceleration and handling would go?
The M135i is the best bang for the buck... probably ever in the history of cars! The fact that it costs only a little over £30K and is being compared with the Carrera says a lot. The fact that it's only 8% slower than the Pagani on this track (keep in mind that the Pagani costs well over £1 million) says it all. A brilliant car!
i cannot get enough of mr. pagani's work. fantastic in every way. so much respect
That Huayara is a beautiful car! I must say I was not so sure about the design but watching it today my god I got goosebumps.....literally goosebumps and the fact it won was the icing on the cake

The most entertaining video from EVO this year.....Good on ya Dickie & Tiff!
every time I look at the mclaren I keep falling in love more and more. m135 was a great surprise as well as the boxter.
Tiff is always great to watch, drives the absolute wheels of a car and does it well.
They said the Lotus Exige was the winner. It says it in the full article in the magazine.
They tied the lotus with the pagani
Great video guys, loved having Tiff on the show!
YES YES YES EVO!!!
Well bloody done!
A proper video at last!!
one of the first properly interesting video by EVO.
it was jolly good fun watching you guys have so much fun. what a luxurious life...
still one of the best car vids on the web. if anyone knows a channel that does these kinds of battles proper then please let me know. and im reffering mostly to supercars as i know there are many sports car vids like this
This was a fantastic little video. Really enjoyed it. More of this, youtube peoples, more of this!
I learned from this video that the BMW and MB coupes are over-powered, and that a Boxster can be as good as a base 911. Also, I learned that test driving super cars on a track is super fun. Fantastic new dimension to the fabulous eCoty!
tiff
Damn these are the 2 best presenters I have even seen on any car show. Especially the old guy.
Easily the best PCOTY test to date. Love Tiff
Wow.. that was super impressive! Wow. Major action in this video. And I love to hear TIff Neddle voice.
awesome shoots ,awesome drivers and awesome cars ,PERFECT !!!
yes Tiff, that was truly EPIC.
ABSOLUTELY EPIC!
I love the noise from the turbos on the huayra
I like how the boxster was faster around this track than the black, shows you how the track makes a huge difference
i love tiff
Tiff!!! Excellent show, loved it!
despite tiff taking the less faster car, he won just abt every time
That Pagani looks big and heavy compared to the MP4-12c but when its going like it does, man. What a Bonkers machine!
Tiff is a top top guy - more of him please!
More like this please Evo!
I love that EVO has Tiff now.
Awesome guys and crew...well done!
such a good video, can we just get the best of the best youtube reviewers into one channel?
I would like to see more videos with Tiff!!
Got to love Tiff. Would also like to see the Alpina go against the M135 on a longer track.
These guys have the coolest jobs!!
The huayra as you said is not all aesthetic. It not only set the record but smashed the record on Top Gear
I'm very confused I know lol....but the both of them are sooo GOOD!
Love to see the little Lotus punching well above it's weight. Best handling car on show.
11:44 I wonder whether, those flaps on the 'Huayra' (esp at the front) that constantly adjust up & down, cause a distraction while driving?
I'm not convinced about this. On the Top Gear test track, the Huayra comprehensively blew the competition away. I wonder if they were giving it the full beans or if they backed off due to its astronomical price?
the paganis top gear lap was so fast was cuz it had the semi slicks (pretty sure they were road legal though)
evotv is best when you put your heart into a reveiw, not the numbers.
finally Tiff is back !
thanks EVO
EVO would make a class tv show
Cheers from Canada.

you have to admit that 3 wheel morgan looks super cool!
Nice! Lots of fun on the track
This was AWESOME
You can just tell they love their jobs and are having a great time
Amazing vid. I was more impressed with the McLaren than the Huayra really considering the price difference between the two!
Pagani reminds me that nothing is impossible! Self taught car designer, self made billionaire. thank you evo! i'm really surprised by that pagani.
Would have loved to have seen Tiff in the Huayra! Amazing how close the Pagani and McLaren are, considering the extra cost and power of the italian. Imagine how fast the new F1 will be!
wait, there's a FULL-length DVD with more of these awesome 14 minutes?!
Cool Tiff , Loved Show !!!!
I love the new boxter!
Tiff just adds that extra bit of driving credibility.
Did I see flames coming out of the exhaust @ 10:00 ?! On a stock version? That's feisty!!
This was REALLY a cool episode. I just LOVE IT.
EPIC EPISODE!!!
awesome work guys! :)
Tiff is a legend

The Pagani needs exhaust flames.
Nice video!! Greetings from Spain
i feel like the result of the 12c and the huayra would be different if tiff had the traction on. the huayra was on and its only rear wheel drive so i had way more grip, and when the 12c has traction on, there is never slip
Hahaha, I love Tiff's singing along to the 911's tune as it downshifts!
Very nice video! Cheers guys!
I'm shocked the Pagani beat the MP4-12C around the track. What had more fun factor to drive and which one would you rather own, the Pagani or the MP4-12C?
they should do at the end drag race between the MP4 vs Pagani Huayra
Tiff is a legend.
wow just wow,i felt like i was there!!! oooin and awwwin the whole time lol one day hopefully ill have my time to experience something like this
nicely done fellas... brilliant...
Great video!
So the M135i did the same lap time as the Alpina. I didn't expect that. Seems to be a good drivers car but it's a pity that it looks so ugly, especially the front.
very nice vid i ope you will upload a video of tiff and cris harris
You should change the wheel to get more feeling. Why didnt Tiff drive the Huayra? I'd like to know his impressions about all these tested cars.
tiff is just a hero. the guy is just so funny
Tiff is quite possibly the coolest man alive.
Great video, boxster amazing time
once in a lifetime? isn't this an annual event?
god dang they get so close to each other
Actually the Jalopnik article confuses me. First Pagani said they used Corsas, but then said it was for marketing and they actually used Trofeos instead.

Pagani and McLaren forever! McLaren would be my second choice. Not like I can afford either one but if I could, zonda first the McLaren next:)
Out of all the cars in this vid, my top 5 are:
1. Lotus Exige S
2. BMW M135i
3. Porsche Carrera (991)
4. Toyota GT-86
5. McLaren MP4-12C
Yes, thanks for an epic 14:16min!
Tiff Needell = Legend
Where is the DVD i can't find it online!! :-(
For comparative purposes, I wonder how a current 2012MY (2013MY in the USA) Nissan GT-R would perform...and of coursed the newly released 2013MY (2014MY in the USA) GT-R with even greater speed, acceleration and handling would go?
In Top Gear they used racing slicks. The time did not count and they did the test again with road tires
Put Tiff in the title! It will bring 10x more views
Thank you for the video.
Anyone know what the GTR laps this track in?
Okay that Morgan, looks fun as hell.
shows how amazing the maclaren is!
Good video. But i feel when you have the cars of this magnitude, then you need a big proper race track to race them on. Like Motortrend does it.
The M135i is the best bang for the buck... probably ever in the history of cars! The fact that it costs only a little over £30K and is being compared with the Carrera says a lot.
