All these criminals should lose their human rights. What about the human rights of the victims?
These criminals shouldn’t be allowed to appeal and especially not using tax payer lawyers😡
We should leave or ignore the ECHR (like other countries do) and our laws in support of the ECHR should be repealed.
We have a parliament full of spineless and gutless politicians and none of them are leaders.

    • @BritishLandeur
      @BritishLandeur  12 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

As a society, we have lost the plot. How can someone plead human rights after they literally took someone's life. We should absolutely just ignore the ECHR. If everyone ignores it, it's nonsense. Alternatively, repeal it. It's just a bunch of writing on a paper. Write some new paper that says we're not doing that anymore.
Some will say it's more complicated than that. I doubt it.

I agree with you about Farage, Landeur - and with Elon Musk, who judges him not to be a leader.
1 He not only marginalised Ben Habib, who was Deputy Leader of Reform-UK, but was sadly not returned at the General Election, but he also totally pointlessly insulted and slandered Ben Habib to Camilla Tominey on GB News. It was a horrible display of disloyalty.
2 He has on many occasions thrown Tommy Robinson under the bus. He keeps going on about TR's past criminal convictions - although anyone examining the details of these would agree that there was a lot of trumping up of charges, and it is notable that TR NEVER gets a jury - only ever a judge. At present he is in solitary confinement for - we think - nine months in a Category B prison, for a CIVIL offence. This must be against all sorts of laws, but does anyone care? Farage, in the process of insulting and disparaging him yet again, always uses this as the excuse as to why TR COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE ADMITTED AS A MEMBER OF REFORM-UK, although Robinson has repeatedly said that he does not want to join Reform-UK. It's just weird.
3 Farage's interview with Steven Edginton where he said it would be impossible to deport even illegal migrants who were criminals. Well, that proves to me that the man is not serious. He is cos-playing at being a politician.

As our judges are independent of parliament, it doesn't matter what new laws politicians make. The Lord Chief Justice has appointed judges since 2005, and before that the monarch appointed the Lord Chancellor (usually in line with the PM of the day). Neither of those routes will reform the judiciary now...nor will new manuals or training. The leftists are so entrenched in our legal system that the fix would have to be original, fast and radical to get these foreign crims back home. Hard to hear for all of us (including me) but politics is neutered on this issue

Foreign national offenders in UK prisons: Powers to deport
      In Focus
      Published Wednesday, 17 April, 2024
      In Focus
      Crime
      Immigration
      Sarah Tudor
Under UK legislation, the government has a duty to consider deportation of foreign nationals convicted of an offence in the UK and sentenced to at least 12 months’ imprisonment. It can remove foreign national offenders before the end of their prison sentence through various schemes and through prisoner transfer agreements. The deportation of foreign national offenders is a government priority.

I am also disappointed with Richard Tice. After the last rally in London in October, in support of the political prisoners and in memory of the late Peter Lynch, Tice said he wanted nothing to do 'with that lot' - shudder, shudder.
That is, he was disowning about 80,000 of his voting base - not to mention the people who couldn't attend the rally, but who knew those who did.
The next London rally (Waterloo, 12 noon, Saturday 1 February 2025) promises to be even larger, as Tommy Robinson - now having been in solitary confinement for three months - has the prospect of having his bisitors banned. The demonstration will be for all the politicsl prisoners in Britain today.

The judges that work the immigration cases are the real problem aswell here in italy.
We have every day a new arrive in Lampedusa, 500/1000 persons per day all asking asylum, most of them using the tactics of first the mens and then come all the family plus relatives and their oldest ones.
I think that is not sustainable allow illegal foreigners who come here with no documents, most of the time lying to officials when here.
i have a close relative that until the last year had an addiction to heroin and cocaine that showed me and told me about all of those guys from Tunisia, especially Kerkennah and sfax, 2 small isles that basically the whole population of youngsters are here (italy)"working" as low level drug pushers, and they told my friend that Lampedusa is theirs and they boast on Facebook of their trips from Tunisia to italy and back, because they have to hide the moneys. and when some dude get arrested it will pass some day and a new relative will take his phone and restart selling!
yeah the addicts are complicit in this but idk

It certainly is an extremely frustrating situation where criminals are able to play the system and outrun justice.
I just wonder how long it is going to be until one of these undesirables picks the wrong victim and the aggrieved take matters into their own hands.
To quote Christine Chang, a lecturer in war studies at Kings College London, and although she stated this in a different context, it does relate:
“I think when you are desperate… and have no other channel to which you can actually voice all of the pain and trauma.. you turn to violence.
And many people do believe that our state has not only failed them but is actively against them. 🙁
