great video. Can the speed trim actually limit speed? Thinking about this for me and the kids.
No it has stearing trim and throttle trim,hat just stops it from moving back or forward if the trim is off.

Regarding the battery tray, how big a battery can you fit in there? For example, what are the dimensions of the battery that you get with the car? In milimeters if posible :)

Thanks!....Battery dimentions lenth 65mm width 36mm thicknes 18mm there is just a little extra room inside a mm give or take.

But i just ordered it anyways since the batteries are so cheap and i can maybe mod it somehow to fit them. So thanks again for the quick answer and keep up the informative reviews!

Is it single or double speed ? I have 10428 a , this is a good looking car , I am afraid 1:12 is a bit too small compare to my 1:10 isn't it ?
There is no speed selection switch if that's what you mean and 1:12 is smaller yes.

Is this car waterproof?
How do I charge the damn thing with the included USB charger? It can plug into 5V USB, and the battery is 7,4V...
Just plug the balance lead into the charger and plug it into a usb socket or buy a hobby grade charger bit.ly/2Sy3Gwi
How long does the stock battery last for?
Depends how fast you drive 10 minutes plus.
are diff gears metal on these models?
I have not opened the diff gears to check but from what i know,since the is a up to date version of the 12428 i would guess they are metal.
