L'Arc〜en〜Ciel’s songs have stories. Even hardcore fans, it is difficult to explain their sound. They are the best band in Japan definitely.
They have such a timeless sound to their music.. the kind that you’d wanna singalong with your buddies around a campfire
or just hum to yourself while going about your laundry hehe
This is just good music! Damn to think that I was proud of my music tastes being ‘non-mainstream & well diversified‘ for years now and yet to have missed out a band like this and a Jrock band of all things.
Then again, times like these actually makes me appreciate the greed in human nature for one, if it wasn’t so I’d be long content with my current playlist and would’ve never taken the risk of checking out something new every now and then just to add one more to it lmao

Everyone who was in their teens, or above, during 90s knows them. And plenty of young people know them too.
One of the truly big, iconic bands from past 30~35 years.

Those are older songs.
I’ve been a fan of theirs for around 19 years. They are one of the top Japanese rock bands. I’m so glad that you did a reaction video to this song. This is one of my top favourite song from them. 😍😍 Fyi, their lyrics talks about different kinds of topics, apart from love. Topics like war, reminiscence, life, universe, etc. Their lyrics are very meaningful and all their songs are different from one another. Some of their songs have been used for anime and commercials. Hope to see u guys do more of their songs, example, Jojoushi (poem), Hoshizora, Driver’s High, Bless, Hitomi no jyuunin. Thanks!
Hyde, the singer, is now 50 and still actively performing metal songs, you should check out his solo and his other band, VAMPS. While L'arc en Ciel is mostly light and happy, VAMPS is more dark, and metal, and he did some songs in English too. I'd recommend Replay, Inside of Me, Vampire's Love (Eng or Japanese, you choose) and Rise or Die.
Metal? Nah he does more punk rock/pop rock type music tbh. Though vamps is definitely more heavy than some of the stuff he helped produce.
in this particular song and performance Yukihiro a.k.a one of the active legend drummer in Japan rock industry, playing such a key role to the rhythm and sound so 'tasty'!! I miss Blame to be presented in the stage! hopefully their MMXX Arena Tour on Jan 9 2020 would be fill this nostalgic song!

i've been a fan of L`Arc~en~Ciel for a really long time. they was coming to my country in 2012 for their 20th anniversary world tour, but i was too young to afford a ticket to their concert. that's their first and last time here. really hope they will come again to my country

If I may give you another band suggestion/request, PLEASE do some Buck-Tick! One of the founding fathers of Visual Kei-still slugging it out after 32 yrs with the same lineup!! Song wise, there’s so much to choose from but I’d say live versions of The Nightmare, Memento Mori, Coyote, Cuba Libre, and many more! Romance and Babel are also amazing!! Please and thank you!! 🙏🏻💕

please if you two have a chance to come to their so rare tour on 2020 called MMXX Arena Tour 2020! imagine it's so awesome and amazing experience when we just watched these four legend through DVD or YT video yet, when you on the arena of their LIVE stage, Lord! I'm not gonna lie, its such spiritual kinda feel.. like its out of body like(?).. you just be the one with their songs and anything beautiful presented in the stage by one and only 'Monster Band' in Japan rock scene! Truly! and fun fact, thos tour would be heading to their 30 Anniversary of L'Arc en Ciel (LEC) which in 2021.. counting on that all four members would be performing while they all on 50 yo! All of them! such a legendary band! Oh! Also! please kindly react to plenty of LEC videos from their official YT account! there are live performances and MVs! it's truly worth your time and pleasing in the ears and eyes! simply put, wonderful experience whatever involved this legendary band! I had the great luck to see Hyde singing alive in Brazil. It was not with L'Arc-en-Ciel, but still it was amazing. He have a great voice. L'Arc-en--Ciel is one of my favorite bands. One of the top 3.
