If the show started in the Flynn Era...
Season 1: Scourge's Introduction --> Knothole's Destruction
Season 2: House of Cards --> Eggman Snapping
Season 3: Iron Dominion --> First Genesis Wave or Mecha Sally's Introduction
Don't know what the other seasons would look like since that's when all the legal stuff started happening.
If sega ever gives up on idw and being cannon hoping we get a show based off Archie sonic
I really hope they do someday, even though they probably never will. This story would be a prime candidate for an episode.
@@frycry360solidslade5 It deserves one. To me, the Archie comic is just as important and worthy of a cartoon as Spider-Man or the Fantastic Four.

It's really a shame Shard didn't last very long. I hope he's brought back in some form in the future, even if it is a re-adaptation like Surge is to Scourge. It would be kind of neat if the new Metal Sonic in Prime is turned good and the Shatterspaces remain in their own separate dimension, with him serving as that multiverse's Sonic so the main one and Shadow can go back to their world.
I mean Chaos Sonic is basically Shard if he stayed evil, so I consider him a win for bringing back old Archie characters even if he technically doesn't count.
Isnt there the theory that Gemerl is essentially what is left of Shard?
Metal sonic did sacrifice himself in rivals 2, the setup is there, they just need to use it
I want the real Shard back. Surge is a "cheap imitation" as Shard would say, and having a knock-off of another great Archie character would just be worse than never seeing them again.

I remember seeing the rough drafts on Tumblr. Knowing someone was out there, giving my boy this chance, made me so happy! The music, the voices, it made this story all the more impactful! That last addition at the end, giving us some hope. Shard is my favorite Archie character! Thank you so much, all of you, for putting the time and effort into this wonderful creation!
This is further proof that the Archie Sonic continuity goes so hard, despite its problems. I love how this got animated, so very well done!
If the early parts gets turned into a continuation of Satam and lead up to Flynn's writing, it'd be pretty cool.

Having one of my favorite Archie issues being animated is a nice slice of my day! I love Shard so much and it made me so sad to see him die.

This is a good take on Metal Sonic. One who learned from it's mistakes and uses them against it's opponents. Honestly, an adaptive Metal Sonic is a pretty terrifying concept if done right.
God I wish we got to play as Shard in a Sonic game. He could have been a Megaman styled character and copied bosses weapons hell he could get stages that are more focused in the air
Or even better. One that uses the arm cannon as a way to get and redirect extra momentum
I was thinking of if SEGA went with idea of making Moghty, Ray and Metal Sonic a team in Heroes, we could've seen someone similar to Shard
Thank you for animating this incredible story. While you may have removed some dialogue, you added in some new stuff. This is one of my favorite stories ever, and you did a great job with it. Shard and Nicole's seeming romance, Shard and Metal's brotherhood and rivalry, Eggman's menace, all of it has been done perfectly. Thank you so much. What an excellent story.

Firstly, amazing job. Shard’s final appearance deserves loads more love. Second, I don’t know why Eggman didn’t start building more Metal Sonic’s with gemstone cores. It makes em look cooler, clearly it makes em more powerful, and Metal Sonic as absorbed the master emerald AND the phantom ruby as power cores, not to mention shard himself was once Metal Sonic so it CAN be done. Plus… Eggman should have tried to see what would happen if he installed a chaos emerald into Metal Sonic’s chest. It could not only grant Metal immense power, BUT could in theory allow him to go super. Far more effectively than Mecha Sonic ever could. Well done on this animation!
I think it’s better for story for both the other characters and metal sonic to have one metal sonic you can have shard Im Talking about a eggman metal sonic as the only one
if just one single issue of the hole sonics comic history had to be animated it had to be this one 👍

This isn't my favorite Archie story, but if we are talking about single issues, it is my absolute favorite. It's just one of the greatest Sonic stories ever told.
i can not put it into words how much i like this. i am a massive fan of the robot sonics, shard, metal, mecha, you name it i most likely like it.
and by god i wish they used Shard's concept more

I was slightly hoping Shard got a happy ending, but we had to be realistic.... regardless this was an incredible animation and I'm deeply thankful.

@@RandyLannisterVaya que sí. A proposito ya viste el Metal Sonic que salio en el trailer promocional de la temporada 2 de Sonic Prime. Es tán expresivo en sus ojos y su diseño tán alejado del Metal Sonic tipico que me trae recuerdos de Shard.

That's the point. To establish that Shard and Metal are like brothers, but both are on very different paths.
