  • Imagine for a moment what Abigail’s life may have been like. Abigail may have lived much of her life with her hands tied, so to speak, tip-toeing around on eggshells with limited freedom. She was careful, always careful, to thank the servants, to give to those in need, to be gracious to the neighbors, but also careful to perform these acts quietly out of view of her angry, selfish husband who gave nothing to anyone unless there was something in it for him. Finally, his ingratitude, his ungratefulness, and his angry belligerence put their very lives in danger. Abigail once again stepped into the role of a gracious peacemaker. She was forced to make the decisions herself at a time when she was unable to ask her husband because of his drunken state. She did what she had to do to save her life and the lives of her household - including her husband, but God had other plans for this wicked and obnoxious man, and He had other plans for Abigail.
Angela has also published two books. The most recent of these two is entitled Light in the Darkness and is a 52-week devotional with supporting Scriptures included. This book shares practical applications from Scripture for everyday daily situations and decisions. Her first book is entitled The Art of Worship and shares her journey out of religion and into a real, living, dynamic relationship with the Triune God. Both books can be purchased from Amazon.
