I'm gonna miss this series, the way you edit with the music and scenes from the Oscar makes me think that cinema can go very far from one's imagination, I want you to (Now this may sound selfish) start a new series like BAFTA or Cannes cause I love your videos, and I want to be part of cinema, your videos make me think that I can do something in cinema, It's a request that please don't stop making this type of videos.
03:26 "My number was 83317. I am a Holocaust survivor. It's a long way from Auschwitz to this stage. (...) People died in front of me in the camps. Their last words were: Be a witness of my murder. Tell the world how I died. Remember." Branko Lustig (Osijek, 1932 - Zagreb, 2019). Schindler's List is a masterpiece.
Despite his behavior, he undoubtedly poduced excellent movies. So, if we're talking about movie quality, it's understandable that he has some Oscars. Still, he's done horrible things as a person.
Such incredible list of films. I notice that 90s is decade of persons - Costner, Gibson, Eastwood, they are all actors and did such wonderful movies. Also I like a range of this decade from thriller to melodrama, also we have western, powerful drama, comedy and historical film. And thank you for amazing video, you edits inspire me to watch all these movies. And wait Oscar 2022
This itself is a piece of cinema, a story in itself, an art form unmatched. Thanks for this video yet again, and thanks for reminding us all how precious the gift of cinema is. This video brought nothing but tears and also deepened the love of cinema! Thankyou.
I agree with 9 out of 10 wins, i hated the fact that saving private Ryan lost for the Shakespeare's love, which is stupid and nothing compared to the incredible and brutal nature of speilberg's masterpiece!
I´m crying that this series is over, maybe you can do just some more minor categories? Like Production Design or International feature, your Oscar timelines helped me memorize Oscar winners from each year, thank you so much for this journey you brought us on. Merci beaucoup, mon ami
Your Oscar video are so fascinating and heart touching , through this we all get the true feelings of cinema, this shows the true love to movie, waiting for 2022 Oscar tribute video,🤟🏻, 🙏🏻 Namaste
driving miss daisy still lovable. Might not be the same club as the rest of winners but always beloved. Same goes with Shakspeare in Love. The English Patient is up there with the rest. Poetic and beautiful picture. 3 picture that people always mention as hon best picture goodfellas, pulp fiction and Saving provate ryan
Thank you for the collage at the beginning of all the films we now consider great but which did not win. In hindsight some of the winners were not that great compared to others that were nominated, or even those not nominated. We need to remember all of the great movies!
Thanks a lot 🙏 Here's the list of film : The Shawshank Redemption Quiz Show Secrets and Lies Good Will Hunting Scent of a Woman As Good as It Gets Elizabeth Life Is Beautiful Il Postino The Remains of the Day Sense and Sensibility The Prince of Tides L.A. Shakespear in love qui gagne face au Soldat ryan , considéré aujourd'hui comme le plus gros hold-up des oscar 😂😅 Le soldat ryan méritait de gagner et de loin !
Thanks a lot ! My next video ? Concerning the Oscars it will be a tribute to the next ceremony (december 27, so you can expect a video in the next few days 😊). I will try to do another one, a trailer or a tribute, before it.
90 Driving Miss Daisy ( i wish Goodfelass realese that year ) 91 Dance with the wolf 92 Hannibal Lecter 😮 93 Unforgiven 94 Schindler List ( unanimous ) 95 any of those 3 famous picture were deserved. My pick will be Shawsank 96 braveheart 97 The English Patient 98 Titanic 99 Shakspeare its lovable but people insist that Saving Ryan deserve more
So what now?, Are the Oscar tribute videos over or are you gonna do 1980-1989? Personally I would love to see you go all the way back to the 50s. I am aware that footage from that long ago will be hard to work into a tribute video.
From worst to best in my opinion: 1. Schindler's List 2. The Silence of the Lambs 3. Titanic 4. Forrest Gump 5. Unforgiven 6. Braveheart 7. The English Patient 8. Dances with Wolves 9. Driving Miss Daisy 10. Shakespeare in Love
Titanic deserves it, it marked a before and after in the history of cinema in every way, the world is still watching it 25 years later, unfortunately very few people remember L.A. Confidential
Saving private ryan was one of the most biggest Robs cause of Shakespeare in love and simply people pention the oscsrs to reverse it. Should've won best pictue.
Goodfellas should’ve won in 91 (this may be the biggest blunder the Academy has ever made) Pulp Fiction or Shawshank should’ve won in 95 (Shawshank may have been slightly better but we forget how paradigm-shifting Pulp Fiction’s storytelling was at the time and for that alone it probably should’ve won) Saving Private Ryan should’ve won in 99 (you know how you walk away from a theater feeling you’ve just seen an exceptional movie? I didn’t feel that at all when leaving Shakespeare in Love. It never occurred to me that it would even be nominated.)
seeing lots of movies like silence of the lambs ,forest gump is wonderful but then seeing shakespeare in love is like a bad joke I'm sorry but this movie didn't deserve it
Schindler List was another level of cinematic master piece
Though not an easy film to watch

Schindler's List is a masterpiece.
My personal favourite is Driving Miss Daisy, but Schindlers List and Silence of the Lambs were both amazing!
This man deserves a millions of subscribers the way he edited this video is itself a masterpiece.
The fact that Harvey Weinstein has more Oscars than Alfred Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan, Sergio Leone and Akira Kurasawa...
Despite his behavior, he undoubtedly poduced excellent movies.
So, if we're talking about movie quality, it's understandable that he has some Oscars.
Still, he's done horrible things as a person.
Why do the people who finance a movie get an award. Sometimes they didnt have input or talent past the money
Saving Private Ryan > Shakespeare in Love
Such incredible list of films. I notice that 90s is decade of persons - Costner, Gibson, Eastwood, they are all actors and did such wonderful movies. Coster didn't deserve to win though. Scorsese did.
Yeah only white men had any chance back then
Titanic is the best!
Top 3 90s winners

2. The Silence of the Lambs
3. Forrest Gump

Amazing! I hope you keep doin this.
90s had a lot of great films
All these movies are some of the greatest movie in history ( Shakespeare in love is good but not the best)
As well as driving miss daisy and English patient, good movies just not as iconic as the rest of the films
driving miss daisy still lovable. Might not be the same club as the rest of winners but always beloved. Same goes with Shakspeare in Love. The English Patient is up there with the rest. You should make one with
All the top ten best picture winners and stuff like that
Ready for Oscar 2022
You should do an edit of every winner 1990-2024
90 Driving Miss Daisy ( i wish Goodfelass realese that year )

92 Hannibal Lecter 😮
93 Unforgiven
94 Schindler List ( unanimous )

After Barton Fink, before Good Will Hunting
'Secrets & Lies' (1996)

It's the age of the actor-director.
to make it count
Who will win this year? CODA or The Power of the Dog?
