I just got back a few days ago from the VSCDA Ariens Art on Wheels weekend. I've wanted to go to this for YEARS, and just this year found the right excuse. The Austin-Healey Club of America held their national Conclave event on the heels of the weekend, and even managed to make Austin-Healey the featured marque for the weekend. Visitors came from around the world to hang out at the event, and it didn't disappoint!
We camped at the track, which isn't the least expensive option but makes it so you can wake up and have breakfast while watching race cars speed by! I highly recommend attending next year--I know I'll be there if the schedule allows, and I'd be happy to meet some of you! Maybe I'll even have some merch by then....

Looks like loads of fun. I know a number of people who have been there but I have not. You have such mechanical knowledge of these little British cars. Was someone in your family an English car mechanic and passed on that knowledge?
Not really, no. My dad worked on his cars but absolutely hated doing it. Almost all of what I know came from learning it through restorations on my own cars, plus some time working at a Tuffy Auto to pay for school.
