Once again, Diane wins the race. Too bad because this toccata is complex but at this speed you miss what Bach was doing. It's amazing to be able to play it at this speed but because you can doesn't mean you should. That's my opinion anyway.
eu sinceramente não entendo como vocês não conseguem ouvir essa maravilha sem dar hate na diane bish. ela é obviamente incrivel e entregou tudooooooooo com essa performance. a maior parte disso é inveja vindo de vcs, so pode. enfim...
I normally agree but she manages to maintain the tempo while still phrasing properly. Most who “can” can’t maintain the energy throughout. She also has a better recording than this. But I love how she suddenly changes the stops towards the end. She’s a a glamorous show off by nature, but she knows music. Bias towards what we’re used to is hard to overcome, but as to missing what he was doing, the notes are the notes and to some extent Bach does “play itself”.
WOW! I remember hearing my teacher, Judy Connelly, play this for me, and it sent shivers down my spine!
Just brilliant. I love it.
Superb, I liked the tempo and the interpretation. Thank you
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I love Bach's music, I love the organ, and I love your playing!
So unbelievable!!!
Amazing and my favorite !
That toccota is good exercise for the player!😊
Love the pedal work.
Which is all toes, characteristic of Bach.
By the sheer depth of her skill and style, Diane Bish renders a host of other great organists, ordinary.

Same here: regrettably she seems eager to show off her skill instead of offering a true
"rendition" no matters if excessively personal.

Esta mujer toca siempre rapidísimo. Se pierden a mi juicio muchos matices y detalles de las piezas.
