It was loud on the inside, lol. There were only about 5 different bolts for size and length, and 4 different bolts for size or flanged. So, it was not hard to figure out which one to use.
@@TAHDAHFarm Love your channel. I work 100 scres up here in Canada, and always like seeing other farmers doing the same. Keep up the great work. Cheers.
I have no idea about the market as to how it will work on that I have options. I still trying to understand the hole get the grain to 15% and cool it down, lol. There is a lot to this.
It was nice not worrying about the elevator closing at 7p. I finished corn one night at 8pm. It was faster to go to the bin and dump then go to the elevator.
Around 25k with everything. Bin, fan, floor, unloading auger, bin sweep, ventilation, concert, stone, labor, and all of the electrical equipment and wiring. It holds about 5k bushels.
Amazing how fast they can build one now, How many bu is it ? The one thing with having a bin is not having to worry about havint to stop bcause the wagons are all full and the mill being closed, Unload into the bin and keep going ! Now you can get a semi in load it up and send it to ware the best price is ! You'll be happy with it I'm sure of that ! Bandit
I was able to finish one field that night even though the elevator was closed. That made it nice not having to think about that part and just giter-done, lol.
@@TAHDAHFarm Now you can shell corn when the field conditions are good and dry it down in the bin so you dont have to play in the mud cause you had to wait for it to dry down. With it holding about 5 semi loads that might make you more money if you can market it for a better price . Bandit
The ethanol plant in Lima will not take corn straight from the field. So now I have them as a sell to opportunity. Corn goes 2 places here. Animal feed and the ethanol plant. So this is a inbound for corn. With that, you can get above market price. This is a game changer. Should pay for itself in 3 to 5 years.
@@TAHDAHFarm There is an ethanol plant up by Washington Corthouse and there building a big new pet/dog food company up there and being I ether have mine hauled 40 miles down to the river at Cincinnati or up by Corthouse or to Dayton a bin might be in my future too, Cause I'm getting tired of the way things are now and if I had a bin at least I have another option and wait a bit for a better price from the market and not have to worry about having to haul it as soon as its cut or shelled. Not sure what you are meaning. They did a great job and it would have taken me weeks to put up by myself. It paid for itself by having it ready to use last fall.
A million fasteners! Thanks for sharing, enjoyed watching!

I failed to answer your question, it is about 5000 bushels. The air drying floor cuts it by about 300 bushels.

How many bushels? And what was the build cost?
It is about 5000 bushels and a little more then a 1 per bushel for them to build it.
Freaking painful. I’m sorry you paid for this
