Take them all out! Even if they’re in woods they tear up the ground and cause erosion. If they’re not controlled they would soon work their way into residential areas and would tear up manicured lawns. I do hope folks eat them or donate them to someone that will!
Pigs are killed inside the trap enclosure because it is illegal in most states to transport feral swine alive or sell the meat. The US Department of Agriculture does not allow wild pork donations directly to food banks due to swine brucellosis and the pseudorabies virus. Feral swine can be eaten, but it is very important to thoroughly cook wild pork to 165 degrees. Most feral pigs harvested by JAGER PRO™ Hog Control Operators™ are either processed by guests or donated to local families and churches for food. However, there is another perspective to consider. Mission success is based solely on removing the entire sounder from each property since whole-sounder lethal control prevents any pig from escaping, surviving, reproducing or being educated to the removal process. Whether a non-native, agricultural pest is eaten or not has no value in the "damage management" decision-making process. Just as removing all termites, rats and cockroaches from your home to stop future residential damage is more important than ensuring all captured pests are eaten. Insect versus mammal makes no difference to the legal definition of a pest or the Best Management Practices needed to control them. The total number of wild pigs we successfully donate has no bearing on the number of animals we must euthanize. The United States cannot BBQ our way out of the feral swine problem. Any carcasses NOT used for food are buried per Department of Agriculture regulations.
@@JAGERPRO please reread the first sentence of my first comment. I’ve been hunting since I was 12 years old. I realize they can’t all be ate for food. I’ve had to dispose of whole deer that I wouldn’t eat and wouldn’t give to anyone else to eat! I will not eat a big boar, when I kill a big boar we will normally bury or burn it. I totally realize Jager Pro is in the business of removing the hogs but I know there are poor hungry folks in our state that would love to have some free pork to eat! There are also lots of hunters that would feed them to their hounds!
@@donbearden1953 - About 20% of feral swine in the United States are seropositive for the pseudorabies virus (PRV). Pigs are the only natural host for PRV which is fatal to dogs and cats with death occurring within two days. It is not a good idea for hunters to feed raw, feral pork to their dogs.

@@JAGERPRO Then cook the meat thoroughly AND THEN feed it to the dogs. Or eat it yourself, whichever. I would love to grill up some back straps.
Amazing vids keep them coming!
We need one of this one for Biden and his administration, Nancy Pelosi and Fauci. Do you guy's do this work in Washington DC?
These guys have that maybe unspoken memory of what the wild hogs did in the Civil War. That's what it is.
Well done.
what do you do with the bodies?
Amazing bro
What do you do with all the meat??

Good Job Gentlemen. 🐷 🐗
Could a coordinated extinction-level event take place? Like, a militia-style, statewide operation over 2 months time?
Have u guys tried to punk'd the hogs with feedgrain lined on the ground written "TRAP"?
Awsome.
Watching this video makes me go and get some pork chops. The feral pigs in the video probably taste better because of their diet.
They do, that's why their meat is darker than pork from the store.
Speaking of hogs, we could then say that there worse than rats or maybe so to speak I'm guessing in my opinion, this is only new to me.
Knock em out
Whole lotta bacon
☕👍
