I will say this, p&d will make you a backing pro. Way back when i was in driving school, my instructor was a p&ddriver for r and yell, along with backing in every way, he also showed maneuverability. We only drove the interstate once the whole time. The rest was all narrow backroads, steep grades and the like. And a lot of downtown. Taught us all a lot. Comes in handy especially now that my job consists of a whole lot of backroad driving and with of all things, oversize loads. 80, 90, 100 ft long loads down narrow windy backroads all over the northeast. Love it. Never thought I'd learn so much from an ltl driver. Great video, keep up the great work.

Volvo I-Shift is like butter! There is a learning curve for backing in an automatic. My first time I hit that dock so hard it knocked my hat off! And in any kind of city traffic, please give me an automatic! Clutch knee is real. Another fine video!

Hey chuck. I really enjoy your videos. I was a P&D driver for a short haul company out of okla city. I drove for 32 years. My last 17 years was p&d in okla my route usually was about 350 miles round trip. And a lot of o& d in and around Oklahoma City. And your videos bring back a lot of fond memories. You have your truck backing skills down to a art. And when your deliveries are a big percentage of your day you tend to get good at it. I’ve been told a lot of times that I separate the men from the boys when it comes to backing a trailer. But I just tell them it’s not that Iam better than any other driver just maybe a little more experienced. I am retired now. I sure miss driving. And your videos make my day. Thanks.
