Man, they picked the right guy to demo this. All of the reviews I saw on Amazon were uninventive in their use of the camera, and I was starting to second-guess purchasing. After watching this, you can really see what the camera is capable of doing when it’s in talented hands.

Awesome and inspirational video and the 1” is the way to go. Now insta must just offer lens protection to protect those lenses while filming and I’m sure they will sell more :)
Hey Brandon, I’ve been trying to research this rs one 1-inch edition because I been wanting a 360 cam and this seems to be the best option. You’ve been a great source of information and inspiration for me regarding this camera and its possibilities. One thing I’d like to know… Horizon Lock. I’ve read that thjs helps with stabilization. So imagine the combination of Ninja Walk + Built-In Flowstate Stabilization + Horizon Lock. I’ve read comments that HL works with 30 fps, but I’m having trouble finding comments confirming that it works with 24fps. Because I’m like you, I prefer cinematic style shooting at 24 fps, but I’d really like confirmation that HL does work at that frame rate before I decide to make the big purchase (for me, at least) for this camera. Any idea, bud?

Impressive 👍 Leica should also collaborate on the 360 X3. I know it's for creators and that one is for filmmakers. The 35mm with cinematic look on the 1 inch works. However, the same tweaks to give a Leica feel on the X3 done on smartphone with small sensors would outstand concurrence. As Leica collaborates on many products, why not the X3. Don't tell me the cost would rise. Just lower your margin 💸🤩🤩

I am having one problem when using this camera,and this is my first 360 camera. When I take a still 360 photo, I am only getting a photo of my side of the camera, not the other side of what i am trying to capture in the shot. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Insta360, is the extended selfie stick compatible with 1” 360 (seems like that’s not what it says on your website)?
It's not recommanded and frustrating that they do this kind of marketing with it.

So Brandon is using the Insta360 extended 3m selfie stick, but the insta360 store listing for the selfie stick states: “Compatibility: ONE RS (1-Inch 360 excluded)…” Please clarify!
We recommend not using the 1-Inch edition on long selfie sticks. Really it is a user-discretion matter, if you trust in your equipment's ability to support the added weight of the 1-Inch edition then the creator has the final say.
The should be a more résistent 3m sticks then. Like fishing rods to catch bigger fish 🐟 😂

After installing the app, you can connect the camera to the phone app, then download the files to the app directly for editing.
My 360 One R sometimes stops recording or doesn't start it, or doesn't stop (no reaction to controls).

How long will it record before overheating?
Hi there, the 1-Inch 360 Lens and its larger sensors do result in more processing power and battery consumption than other 360 lenses. Under our testing environments of 68 to 77°F (20 to 25°C), the 1-Inch 360 Lens didn't shut down due to overheating at 6K 30FPS.
are this camera waterproof?
Hi there, ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition is IPX3 water resistant only when fully assembled, locked, and secured in the Mounting Bracket. It protects against light rain and snow, but should not be submerged in water or used for activities involving high-velocity water such as action sports during rainy weather, surfing, and waterskiing.
It’s a bit big to go on a helmet for action sports, go pro 360 is due out real soon they have some catching up to do, shame this is a little bit big
If DJI doesnt make an Osmo 3 soon i think insta 360 will delete them

Actually, talking about a one inch camera is not really correct. The typical diagonal of a modern 1-inch type sensor is, 16mm (15.9mm, to be precise) and not one inch (25.2 mm).

If only the highlights were not always completely burned on all of this footage. This might be an upgraded camera with upgraded sensors, but I'm still not convinced whatsoever about the quality of any of these 360 cameras

Useless comment. Negative and useless. GoPro used to be the action camera... It needs to adapt to concurrence. Use the 360x3 and comment. Use the 1 inch edition if you are a filmmaker and comment.
