This narrative that Palmer is slow or illiterate is outright disrespectful.
For real, have you seen the way he explained why he chipped his pen on the weekend, kids a genius
Its true but goog player
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very similar to the stuff the paps put Rooney through as a young player
He's slow bruv
'Genius' Pep selling Palmer and Alvarez in order to keep aging and injury prone KDB and Bernardo Silva happy - make it make sense.
Also you would expect someone like macteer would get more playing chances.
Brings back Gundo on a free
Media: what a genius 😭😭😭
Who'd have known Palmer would turn out this way?? Cl. own acting like he protested when Pep sold Palmer 🤡
You’re absolutely right. Pep and Txiki were mad to let him go. Poor transfer activity, both ins and outs, over the last 2 seasons has been disastrous
@@Triple_X_XI remember many city fans saying he made a mistake actually, but since they city won at the time they were shut down. Long term wise it’s clearly a mistake.
Tbh palmer is the best attacking player England has produced since Wayne Rooney and the most exciting even as a neutral I love watching him with the ball at his feet
Hopefully hes not another dele alli
I mean... Harry Kane isn't that bad
Goldstein always makes comments that make it seem like Palmer would leave Chelsea for United if the opportunity was there. So ridiculous
He still thinks it’s the year 2007. Like most Man Utd fans, delusional beyond belief. Next year will be their year 😂😂😂
He is deluded
Think he's just trying to wish it into the universe
Pep has sleepless nights thinking about selling palmer and keeping grealish 😂
@Jimmy-uh8vi He replaced Palmer with Doku. Doku has ability but no end product.
Palmer got out before Pep coached the natural talent out of him.
Yes Pep give him appearances but imo he would have moulded him to fear losing the ball.
Natural talent needs nurched ,guided etc but never suppressed
Then how is it that the most creative player of all time Messi didn't fear losing the ball under pep?
@Jack_Ripper10 maybe because messi was established before pep.. grealish is destroyed..he used to suck 2 /3 players to him now defenders assume he pass it rather than take them on. Doku be next player destroyed imo
@@marcfrizelle7851 mate if Grealish used to do that at Villa that should mean he was established already before pep just like Messi so why isn't he performing just like Messi did? You are contradicting yourself my guy
@Jack_Ripper10 from what I remember messi was already being touted as best in world so he would look rather stupid to change him.
Grealish was a bright spark and was building his name.
Pep said in his interview 3/4, days ago more passes around the box ,players not to have ball for 2or seconds ..
Why buy feckin grealish then.
I have no I'll will toward City just the Egotistical manager.
Pep you could say is an expert on Ferrari but ask him to fix a Datsun or old ford hes obsolete imo.
More passes around box I dont watch much of city but I have seen carvidol save them few times with speculative shots from around 18yd.. Which i would encourage but i say Pep Frowns upon it unless it hits net.
We all entitled to opinions and mine is if I want watch Fiffa style football pass pass pass pass passout il play it on wee lads ps5.
@@Jack_Ripper10because messi was established at that time and the team was built around messi, the way man city used to be built around kdb
Biggest mistake PEP has ever made selling Cole Palmer
Revenge for KDB😂
COYB💙💪🏻
Cole Palmer is a straight-up football savant! 🤯 The way he reads the game, his composure, and those killer passes - he's playing like he's been at this for decades. The kid's vision and talent are unreal! 🔥⚽
Tuchel should build the England team around Palmer...period!
Naturally gifted. Doesn’t need coaching, just nurturing.
ColePalmer 💙💙💙💪💪💪
Palmer isn’t slow, illiterate or anything like that. Seems like he just can’t be bothered with the media and I respect that so much
Palmar, Alvarez and lavia would be doing serious damage at city right now if they kept them.
Benty will put saka above palmer til he retires...deluded! Lets see Saka carry Arsenal for an entire season and give more goal contributions, what more does Palmer have to do lol
Palmer 17/17 saka 21/21 both having great seasons. Saka plays in Europe palmer doesn’t. Palmer has broken 2 records this season as well.
Palmer in the team first over Kane. Kanes a clinical finisher but Palmer could create more chances per game for any of strikers to finish whereas Kane has been on the pitch’s before without anyone to create chances for him and he goes missing, see most recent euros as an example.
Someone’s always SLAMing on TalkSports
What??
Imagine if English sports journalist and pundits had balls as Emmanuel Petit🤔
No way Saka better than Palmer, you must be joking 😂😂
With regards to him playing for England. The solution is very simple. You have Rice and Bellingham at CDM/CM and Palmer in the 10. As much as I don't think Palmers a 10. He's not benching Saka.
Don't think Palmer is a 10?!?!?!??! Do you watch much football? He is only a 10
@colman3411 no he's not he's a RM. I've watched football since the late 90s.
@@CJ4YRDmaybe you watch it with your bum then
@@CJ4YRDI agree with everything u say except Palmer is not a 10 he’s definitely a ten just likes to drift to right so he can shoot
he's 100% a 10 he just likes to drift wide to create space for others and to get away from his marker... he has elite dribbling, passing and shooting how can he not be a 10?
The term for Palmer is savant syndrome... Imagine asking someone to explain their instinct for football.
As for Pep and Grealish - Palmer has brilliant natural instincts, whereas Grealish has average instincts that needed coaching.
The greatest nickname in football, Le Ponytail…
Palmer is that guy, you know
The England squad is so obnoxiously strong, I just hope we win a World Cup with them
Pep had no wish to sell Palmer or Alvarez.
Both players wanted to start more games especially the big games.
Palmer didn't want to play second fiddle to Foden and Alvarez didn't want to play second fiddle to Haaland. The impetus to move came from the players....not Pep.
the impetus to move only came because Pep failed to adequately rotate his squad, now he's paying for it with the injuries and results, they all look completely worn out.
The narrative of "Pep coaches the talent out of players" doesn't really hold much water for me. It's a silly talking point IMO. We've all watched players like David Silva, Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne etc., for years doing spectacular things in a well drilled system.
They take one player in Grealish, and blame his lack of dynamic play on Pep's "totalitarian system" without even an inspection as to why others have flourished and Jack has declined.
Jack for one, has been a party animal off the pitch, leading to questionable performances and potentially led to more injuries than he might otherwise have had given different choices.
The other thing about Grealish was when he played for Villa, they were largely a counter attacking team so Jack would see plenty of space to run and use his ball control and technical ability to make things happen. This is simply not the same at City for reasons I shouldn't need to really elaborate on more than just stating their incredible dominance of possession and opposition collapsing into their final 3rd, leaving little space for Jack to do what he did at Villa. In short, it really isn't anything to do with Pep but I guess it's a "sexy" narrative that the talking heads have ran with.
Palmer is a different player than Grealish. Palmer is technically brilliant as we all know but what makes him different is that he is a highly cerebral player with a creative imagination to match his ability and a vision on par with Kevin de Bruyne. Cole could excel at City or anywhere else for that matter and point of fact whenever I watched Cole get minutes as a late sub or the odd start while playing at City he was very good in those limited appearances. In fact, he was superb in a Supercup before moving to London, scoring a gorgeous goal similar to what we see at Chelsea.
I think what initiated Palmer to want to move was when players like Mahrez left (right sided attacker) and Pep went out and bought Doku, which probably denoted to Palmer at least that he's not going to get a fair run as long as City keep buying attackers.
From my understanding, Palmer was prepared for a loan move to Burnley and Pep basically told him the only way he leaves is on a permanent. The rest as they say, is history.
He does his talking on the pitch.
will be englands greatest player and win ballon dor
Don't ever judge a book by the cover, it will make you look silly
Palmer is good player but you guys are going on like city ain’t won anything I’m happy palmer is doing wonder at Chelsea atm but we need to win something. Let’s just not get carried away. They done it in the past praised someone so much n they went downhill leave the guy alone
He’s better than Foden
Pep kept Kdb, Silva and Gundo
And got rid of Palmer and Alvarez.
He sold young players and kept ageing superstars.
He was very comfortable at the top Mr. PEP
Many more he got rid ferran Torres also and jaoa cancelo
@JERRYCALDWELLALSIMONWILSORUPM damn I forgot aboyt Torres, he moved so many good players. Kalvin Phillips would be holding this season.
@@manofthenorth6372 exactly he got rid of the depth which was his secret weapon
Would you get rid of KDB, Silva, and Gundo when they just won you six out of seven PL titles? Palmer is brilliant but you are judging his performances for this season against Gundo, KDB, and Silva this season. The reality is that this Palmer season would not have been enough to get him into the Man City team 2 seasons ago. And no he tried to keep both Alvarez and Palmer but they wanted to leave. Should he have forced them to stay?
@PepTheGOAT-nl7em you're telling me he didn't see Palmer potential in training?
Also he keeps selling players and not replace them.
He sold Sterling and got Doku, but Alvarez for no replacement, Cancelo and no replacement, Phillips is much needed right now,
Too much reliance on Rodri, but these players need competition on the bench.
Palmer and Alvarez wanted to leave. Nothing to do with Pep's treatment.
They all wanted more game time
Because they wanted to play, but pep just gets lucky, he isn't really a good coach, he was just lucky to have Messi and inherit a dope barca side. Lucky to manage the boss of germany Bayern (yet win naff all), lucky to get the city job, a team that was already built up and won the prem before him. Lucky to have Rodri, who won city their first CL.
basically he is just a hyped up mid manager who got lucky.
Pep made huge mistakes.Period.😅😅😅
@@chesterivy Sure, just like De Bruyne and Salah wanted more game time at Chelsea. Chelsea were winning the league around that time, same with City. It's tough to play everyone in a squad like that.
@@saindst I feel sorry for you if you genuinely believe that man
Palmer is a little on the spectrum. But then who isn't.
I suppose it’s easy to play well when you only play one match a week unlike other big players in the league
Massa rest!!!
So why are the players not playing as well as Palmer from the teams not in Europe? Explain your logic
The hate is eating you alive
I suggest as you only talk b......s, it would be better if you made no comments.
Cole Palmer doesn’t play in Europe or the league cup so he only plays league games unlike other top players so that makes him fresh to play every weekend
Jack Grealish is a drunked.
Pep hardly makes any mistakes, palmer left city won the EPL same season why should pep bother
winning the league has no relevance to making a mistake on selling Palmer... its when your watching Grealish Doku stink it up you can only question the decision making...
Grealish made a terrible footballing decision... But he got the 💰
Kane the most important? Your mad
Kane don't perform on the big stage
pep hits barriers everwhere.. example chelsea in the champions league many times.. under barcelona and city. Domestically brilliant but runs out of gas and his austism kicks in self harms and flops. Then refreshes the city dream will die..
Everyone having a pop at Pep now not long ago they were saying he’s a genius. And palmer won’t be at Chelsea long he’ll go to Madrid.
Madrid have Bellingham they're not gonna blow £150M on Palmer just for the sake of it...
no he won’t be we ain’t selling…
@ he’ll go as soon as Barca or Madrid call
@ yeah right, we won’t sell 🤡
@ you’re not a big club ya clown, any player eventually goes to Madrid or Barca
Palmer ain't shyte.. Overhyped G/A player.. Musiala is miles better..If Pep gets Musiala in that 10 role and Nico Williams on the wings, their attack will be back
Stay off the drugs
😂😂😂 yeah sure
That sounds so easy
Tell the midfielders in your club to match that overhyped g/a
I’m very sure all your midfielders put together cannot match those numbers.
What’s your club again?
