Good gloves, good review. I always said that every lace up must come with lace and loop as option. Another great review from Carlo as we do not have stores selling boxing gloves.

Have the same exact gloves for about 2 1/2 months , Sparred with them only about 6 times and on the bag about 4 times stitching on the left glove has come undone exposing the foam already and getting worse. Bummer
Having used so many gloves at this point, do you feel that winning is overrated, do you still think they're one of the best gloves you can buy (not counting price into the equation). For example, do you prefer these to winning?
Great question. i don’t think Winning are overrated, however i do think, companies have caught up to them in terms of comfort, performance, value to $$ ratio, etc. 10-15 years ago Winning was the undisputed champ of boxing gloves, but in the last 5 years other companies both big and small have really stepped the level of competition up to an all new level. When i first started my channel back in 2011 companies like 1v1, Fly, Fortress, Phenom, Superare, didn’t exist yet OR weren’t making boxing gloves at that time. So you could see how much growth there’s been.

How big is the hand compartment? Is the hand compartment smaller or bigger than the rs1 2.0 and rs100 and are they bulkier or sleeker than the rivals ? (In 160z)
Hi, I just received my fortress boxing gloves ss2.0 but I have a question regarding the velcro. Once you put your hands in their without the wraps, does the velcro loop around the glove and come all the way to the end? Mine only comes to half and the velcro on the loop is scratching the leather on the wrist. I emailed the fortress about it and waiting for their reply. Please let me know if this is normal! I would love to hear your feedback!

Lace up by a coach or second person is optimal however due to the super strap you can pre tie the lace on them then just use the strap before use and feel great
Are these just for sparring or can i use them for all around training like heavy bag and pad work? I do like the fact their snug and have wrist support but i want to use it for all around training but not sure if its really only good for sparring?
@@yaseen3180 I tried both and personally prefer the Rivals. I don't personally consider my hands to be super big, but the Rival fit me much better than the fortress in 16oz. Can't imagine getting a knuckle guard into the Fortress. Also love the ergonomics of Rival, never felt anything like that. Just wish they had a sleeker profile (like Fortress does)to sneak in through more guards. I feel like I can deliver a really solid punch in RS1's, feel perfect for my hands and I love the balance. I'm really curious about Phenom.
