Hi God Nod, thanks for sharing the video! I'm fascinated by taxonomy too, and it's great to see others passionate about it. The diversity of approaches to reading the Bible inspired by the Holy Spirit is truly inspiring. I'm also excited about the resurgence of Catholicism. I agree that as Catholics, we should deepen our knowledge of scripture beyond just attending mass. The dedication and thoroughness of the saints in their study of the word of God is a valuable lesson for us all. Public liturgy enriches my personal prayer time as well. Sending love from Luanda, Angola. God bless you and your day!

So much truth in this! Yes, as Catholics we truly do need to learn from the Saints and immerse ourselves in His Word. Greetings to you dear friend!

I absolutely love your reading chart. It is amazing how you organized the entire Bible based on the narratives among other things. Great way to see the overall structure and picture of the Bible.
I read the entire Bible in a year once, but it was very overwhelming for me. Dealing with my classes at the seminary and reading three different books of the Bible each day was too much for me. Now I’ve been focusing on one book at a time and taking my time with it.
A temptation for me is “reading it for the sake of finishing it” rather than “being transformed by it”. It can be hard for me to read the Bible sometimes since I’ve been talking classes from the seminary on the Bible where I have to look at the big themes, the overall arguments, key verses, thesis and proofs that we find in the books of the Bible.

I struggled with the same through graduate school. It definitely can be a hard balance between studying it verses praying with it. I tried to pray with what I was being taught to build on it. Great idea taking it slow and sticking to one book at a time. Prayers for your vocation my friend!

I used to had a desire to read scripture daily and explore the deeper meanings behind unclear passages, like understanding the words of the apostles and the traditions they included in their teachings
But i didn't manage to stick with it..
Hope your plan encourages ppl to take that path

That is amazing! Maybe the desire will come back. I definitely go through phases of doing in depth studying and there are times where I simply just do lectio divina without studying. Thank you for sharing and God bless
