    One of the biggest reasons that otherwise-qualified applicants get rejected is because they apply with a weak "career vision". In this session, Maria Wich-Vila, Harvard MBA and founder of ApplicantLab.com, will help you learn to think how admissions officers think, explaining why the career vision is so important, and key mistakes to avoid.

    Thank you Maria for this super informative and helpful session! This is a lot more useful than MBA reddit forums that only have "elitists" and snarky people replying.

    Hello Maria,
    Thanks for all the information shared. But I have one small query how will we find people who are our resume twin or who have made similar switches?

    • @gmatclub
      @gmatclub  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question! We will let Maria address it but generally you want to connect with current students and talk to the folks who have been there already. Each MBA program has student ambassadors whose bios are on the school's site. Check them out and reach out to them.

    Hello Maria,
    I was wondering if you could share how we can get a few sample SOP. I have my SOP written but worried if the style is right.

    Maria do you think GMAT plays a role even after admissions?

    • @gmatclub
      @gmatclub  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is some discussion about it and some people have re-taken GMAT AFTER their admission. Mostly those were folks with sub-700 scores trying to break into consulting where in the past they eliminate people without a 700-score but that has been not as strictly enforced/asked for in the past few years. It comes and goes.
