- SW Florida woke up to a balmy 60 degrees.
The heat and humidity has returned to SW Florida and more people are out and about enjoying the weather.
The waves, this morning are pretty calm. A number of people out looking for shells, walking their dogs, walking on the beach or just sun bathing in the sunshine. The beach parking lots on the island are now starting to get pretty filled as the day goes on. I guess shops on the island would say that is a good thing for them.
It is always a treat to come to the beach and see what it looks like from the time before. It seems to be ever changing. Also, a number of the side street beach access points are open for public parking. A few are still closed as they continue to do repairs.
The Red Tide signs are still up on the beach, but I did not smell anything or experience any symptoms. As you can see from the video there are some fish bones laying around from what the vultures ate.
I also captured a 1 minute video to just watch and enjoy its calmness.
I hope you enjoyed this video, if so, please like and comment so that more will see these videos. Also, share this channel with others. Thanks for watching.

Hey Gal! You should go over to north Captiva and check it out. Half the island is state park and no cars! Thanks take care
Thanks for the suggestion. I may just have to try and venture down that way sometime.
This place is very beautiful! Why don't I see people on the beach, are they in the houses?
Yes, this place is very very beautiful. I occasionally talk to people I see walking on the beach and some still go to work, some are on vacation but most people I talk to do not even live on the island. I also, think that later in the day, people arrive at the beach to get the bright sunshine and lay out. Also, the ocean water is pretty chilly this time of year.
Suggestion: kindly note the time of day too with the date. I ask bc "We' spent most of our time frolicking to the left of those pillars off Belcher. With every storm one of two seem to disappear. What's the status on the state park?
Thank you for that suggestion. I do provide the date at the start of each video. I will also start including the time of day. The state park is still closed at this time. People can still venture on foot to that part of the island as seen in my video a few weeks back where I was able to walk to the tip and video tape. Lots of changes for sure after the 2024 hurricanes went through. I will try to get down to the end of the island soon to get an updated video.
