Your stories about the location going, "don't go in there" gave me goosebumps, because it reminded me of my own occurrence. In my area, there is this old mental hospital. The place has been turned into a park/apartment buildings. The original administration building still stands (empty & boarded up) at the front of this park. I was poking around the building, looking at the graffiti and see there is a very big hole in one of the boarded up windows people have used to get inside. I go to take a peak, then stop dead in my tracks. I'm not even alone - there are people picnicking nearby, some going to their cars. But something about this hole said, "don't". I stood there staring at it for a good 5 minutes before just going back to my car 🤣 That hole did me in, but not the forgotten cemetery - with nameless headstones of the patients - off in the forest

I think going to a Haunted location as a witch would be such a cool and different experience than compared to someone who doesn't actively work with the entities. It's one thing to just be able to feel and communicate with these entities, it's a completely different thing to be able to actively (or passively) have the ability to manipulate the energies.
I look forward to a ghost hunting video Olivia!

Why haven't there been more Witches going on Ghost Hunts?
I would go on one, myself, but I'm not as able-bodied as I once was, but if I had a way to get to a "famous location" I would still try my damndest!
    Blessed Be, everyone!

When I was between ages 3-5 I used to be able to see shadow figures outside our front door windows at night. The strange thing was, I wasn’t scared of them! I remember feeling calm and just really curious about who they were. Several times I tried to reach out and touch them but they would vanish when I would get really close. By age 6 I couldn’t see them any more.

Olivia you give off quite a fierce energy and I bet you had some of that even before becoming a witch. These entities are not likely to mess with you, even if they're attracted to your magic. But someone with severe mental and physical health issues, no boundaries or self esteem, don't care if they live or die, substance abuse, can suffer drastically. I had what Ayerveda calls severe vata disturbance and my aura was so porous that all kinds of things were just feeding off it - trying to take over my body like the ghost hunter described.

Shadow people for me have always been lurking passive creepers but have never done anything super scary or harmful.... I wonder if part of this Is how our brains process and interpret spiritual energy? Like for me, I may see the energy as a shadow- others may actually see figures or tune in with other senses? I dunno. I will say the shadows seem to be intelligent in my experience. I've had at least1 trickster tho who finally moved on when I was no longer phased by them.
"Mouth breathers" lmao I love it. Also love the rabbit description, I've had those too now that I think about it.

As a Demonolator I always roll my eyes when paranormal investigators bring up the “Demonic”. Honestly I struggled to get through him speaking about it, as well as the Warrens with all the problematic things about them but after you saying you really want to learn what words like “Spirit” or “Demon” mean to others made more sense. I think getting different perspectives on these topics is important. Also him mentioning the exorcist if you take Movie Pazuzu and Historical Pazuzu they are VASTLY different.

Great interview! Super interesting to hear the day in the life aspects of a person in the ghost-hunting profession. Loved all the questions and Paul's energy. He seems like a super nice guy. I recently listened to a super interesting interview with another ghost hunter named Amanda Paulson (Pretty FN Spooky) that interview was more focused on the ins and outs of running a business in the spiritual sector. I really like hearing about their experience and how they make money while pursuing this line of work since it seems the consensus is to not charge. I don't know why but I am always concerned and want to make sure that those who are offering something for free can eat and live.
edit: oh, green eye in paranormal usually means it's a creature. Generally, it's a very old existing creature.

The stories gave me some serious goose bumps, especially the trees telling you not to go in there. That’s some real spooky shit.
Gah thank you so so much both of you for making this possible 💕 💕 💕

I'll never forget being like 3-5 and seeing a "witch" (black shadow) rush past the bathroom at my grandma's house and into the hallway closet that had this big mirror on it.
I have had nothing but haunted dreams about that house, and oftentimes it turns into a labyrinth down in the basement section that I'm always wandering through.
Spooky as hell. I have so many other stories too, but that was the one and only time where I physically saw something.

I loved this! There are so many things I could talk about from my life experiences since childhood. I've thought about writing a book but writing isn't my strong suit lol. I haven't seen a "watcher" since becoming a witch. I used to see them all the time. They would let me know they were there in my dreams, and I'd wake up to them still actually there.

I live in Texas, yet I’ll still call them “walkers” or “Digos” rather than saying their full names. I won’t take those chances even if I’m not in that particular area. I don’t live near any water, so I’m not too worried about La Llorona but it’s something always on the back of my mind when camping.

Magnapinna squids? Also Skinwalkers aren't always the ones who do the mimicry. Pale Crawlers do to taunt people or play with them (not the same as Nightcrawlers btw, they are different. Pacific NW tribes call them Sisiutl..). Those two aren't nearly as dangerous as an unnamed aggressive animal mimic that's been reported worldwide (even in Antarctica!) that can physically manifest into human shape though there's always something a bit off.. like the eyes, nose and mouth are upside down. In North America most reports of them tend to be in National Parks. If you've heard anything about the Missing 411 phenomenon that may be a big factor. It's baffling how many people go missing every year or regrettably are found too late. Cryptids are fascinating and completely f*cking terrifying!

Such an interesting interview :o I've always been interested in ghost hunting, especially since I used to live in an apartment above an old Catholic boarding school.
I went down there with a friend once, and the place we went in through must have been their old woodworking shop classroom or something, since there were just old long tables and tools down there. I remember the whole place just being so interesting, because it was a piece of history I had just been Living above for years. But one of the coolest things we found down there was just a single lightbulb still shining down there. Like someone had just been working and left their tools to step out for air.
The friend I went down with was recording on her phone until it ran out of video memory, and then she just was taking pictures of the corners of the room. And I'm so sad that I don't have the picture anymore after I switched phones, but there was a picture she got of a room down in that basement that shows the figure of a woman with her back to us, but looking over her shoulder.

This is an amazing interview!! I would really like to know how his team classifies the eyeshine of entities. I'm really interested in Cryptids and Nature Beings and both eyeshine and orb colors tend to be different and seems to represent different kinds of energies.
I would like to recommend to him using labradorite for protection. The kind of barrier it creates blocks negative energy but not positive or neutral. Also he might be interested in making his own "holy water" based on a method by Dion Fortune. It's not about religion but Will and can kick it up a notch by adding a little iron powder. Also the Sword Banishing ritual might be a good idea for getting himself off the 👹D list! I think it's in Damon Brand's Magickal Protection book. Hope that helps!!

    • @disideratum

Regarding Skinwalkers and hearing babies cry in the woods or voices calling out stuff.... It's really interesting how many animals actually DO sound like that. A lot of them sound like crying children or screaming women. And did you know that ravens can learn to speak? Depending on where you are, you actually might hear one of them just randomly repeating whatever they picked up somewhere.
While I do believe in cryptids and ghosts and what have you... I think a lot of (especially those) things can be explained without them. It's entirely different story, ofc, if something suddenly starts to call your name XD
Also... cemetaries: I never had any encounters with spirits there. Not overt ones anyway. I used to visit a friend quite often who lived on a street you could reach fastest when walking through the cemetary. Otherwise it would be almost half an hour longer. And it was a huuuuge cemetary, you can really get lost in there. So - I walked through there basically day and night. Very often at night. And since there are no streetlamps I usually had nothing but the moon. And yep... nothing there. I once even slept in there... long story and it was only a few hours until trains started to drive again in my direction, lol. But it was the safest place I could come up with for spending some hours in the dark.
