These two remind me of 2 school friends that have grown up with each other for so long they just have that connection, we won't understand but they are connected on this giggle banter and inside joke train it's endearing to watch the chemistry. Romesh loves being awkward and he's aware of it but Rob loves to break through that barrier Rom puts on and it's nice seeing their more vulnerable sides which is just pure giggle fits lol.
Excellent chemistry, love to see people be able to take each others family members, careers, and current audiences apart in under 5 minutes and laugh the whole way through.
omgisthatvik Shame it’s an exact rip off of Jerry Seinfeld’s show. Also the ‘coming out as a comedian’ is a Seinfeld joke. Ha this is a complete knock off. British comedy is weak and I’m from here.
You know what the word exact means? What car did Ramesh choose to personify Beckett? Which new exclusive coffee place did Ramesh take him to? This show is always at the same place, and they don't even try to pretend it's a real environment, I mean they even use extras and have them change seats throughout the show. So Seinfeld came up with the idea of doing interviews whilst drinking at a café? What a point.
i see the comedians in cars similarity, but as people have said it's a broad enough formula that I feel with good comedians and banter it works doesn't have to be the most original thing, just entertaining
He was joking but, the sad thing is, that is the way the BBC operate. It's only half about how good you are and the other half is who you are. If a white man and a black woman were equally good comedians, the black woman would have 10 times the chance of making it onto the BBC.
@@David-ud9ju That's true in legislation but not in reality. We have to make constant efforts to bring more diversity into our companies, genderwise and ethnicity-wise (not sure thats a real word though) to elevate peoples consciences and awarenesses, with the added benefit of making immigrants or women fit in way better into our society as active members with valid opinions and ideas. Doesn't mean it has no flaws either but it's still a better approach than let's say rebuilding the liberty statue as a white person instead of an afro american one to "better incarnate the population" with already a majority of afroamerican population and a minority of all white elite lmao
I wish I had a friendship like this! My friends tend to be very sweet and amazing, but also a bit sensitive, which is fine because so am I. But this is something to strive for.
Fantastic, you both together are so funny 😂😂😂Romesh, your my absolute favourite all time Comedian, i have never laughed so much watching your videos😂😂😂😂😂
I get what Rob is saying. Having doing comedy as a professional ambition must be quite difficult if you come from a background where no-one does any kind of comedy or even knows anyone who does it or even of people who have comedy as a passion. Trying to do comedy for a living especially if don’t have a group pf other comedians around you is a huge risk and must take a lot of balls and you will fail many times in very embarrassing ways before you succeed, if you succeed. I think its partly so ”shameful” as an ambition because while comedy requires skills and talent, they’re not very tangible. Like if you try to become musician, and eventually fail, you’ve still probably very competent at playing an instrument or instruments and can continue playing for fun for the rest of your life, make new friends through playing etc. whereas a failed comic might actually be less funny than a ”normal” person.
"You want me to be honest with you?" "Yea, please" "You don't check any diversity boxes" "...............did I ever tell you about the time I came out to my dad.....?"
When you hear ‘I’m London working class’ do you automatically go like it’s absolutely no comparison to Liverpool/north east/Yorkshire poor. Being northern poor is a diff story
I love the wilder comedy goes around and hits on soft spots immigration righteousness and those who are stepping in the shoot cold life I knew what it was like to be different from everyone else mainly because I was born in Birmingham and I was born in the Black Country born in poverty and live without a real father alright couldn't remember all the father's names or mummy friends so any sense I had to learn to have a good sense of humour hello how to fit into Society I'm trying to be middle class and forget the bulshit and also try to forget all there hard times and thanks Maggie Thatcher for putting me on the unemployment market more than once and got the UB40 and grow up in a society where no one was Guy no one didn't know a proper song and also did not know how to dress correctly what can I say that was Birmingham for you in the 70s

Fun fact:
Rob and Tom Allen went to the same school together
Feel like Romesh is such an underrated host in theses. He puts people at ease so well and speaks to everyone like hes known then all his life
Excellent chemistry, love to see people be able to take each others family members, careers, and current audiences apart in under 5 minutes and laugh the whole way through.
I love these videos. "So there's people worse than you?" 😂😂

Being racist is also Seinfelds thing, I can't believe they are trying to take that away from him.

@@C_Unit2003 IKR. You have to turn to the US if you want truly original humorists, like Denis Leary.
"Great man, terrible publican" - what an awesome line!
"Yappy like a hand-bag dog" 😂 Thanks Romesh for a visual feast of an insult. Funny AF chat.
"Mom, Dad, I've got something to tell you. I'm a comedian."
Oh my days PLEASE do one with Sean Lock and make it like three hours long.
Three days long.
Three years long so we can call it a kidnapping
Even if Romesh was the kidnapper, I still feel like Sean would be the one getting arrested.
See, funny you asked...
Lee Mack too
I love that they seem like brothers the way they get along together 😊 literally hilarious duo
*"You don't tick enough diversity boxes"*

at least he's honest about it

"You used a lot more negative words than I did"
Best line! 🤣🤣🤣
The depth to comedy Romesh brings is really refreshing. Love this show :D
Their bantering is so eandering hihihi
these two are hilarious together
They’re great together, need their own show.
Rob and Romesh Vs. On Sky One
Excellent clip. They have a great back and forth together
This is so wholesome.. i smiled through the entire episode.
Fantastic, you both together are so funny 😂😂😂Romesh, your my absolute favourite all time Comedian, i have never laughed so much watching your videos😂😂😂😂😂
Anyone remember the kramp twins? It was an animated show on Nickelodeon I think
Lmfaooo these two need to do a parody of that 😂😂😂
Cartoon Network, fam
These two together 😂😂😂☠️🙌🏾
I wanna have a smoke with these two, bet I would laugh myself to death......literally.

😂😂 love Rob
Damn honestly thought that was Dara O Brian doing a Stan Lee type cameo at 2:42
These videos are better than any yoga classes that I have attended. Oddly soothing.
Oooh look at him with his podcast 😂😂
Love this video
1.47 hot single bean
2.43 hot single bean
I love how anything they do together just turns into one of those uncontainable-giggling-fests.
Insert teeth jokes here
Rob Beckette had another coming out, he announced he actually has a wolf's trap insted of teeth.
This was a great Episode, I really sunk my TEETH into it.
Rob's such an underrated comedian, and im 100% Sarah Pascoe is related to him
This show looks f ing great.
This is probably a stupid question, I know these are shorts, but do they have, like an hour long version of these? Cause I think they would be great
they've both got marvellous teeth
Honestly I thought this was a video about them coming out as gay 😂😂
Alex spencer despite it saying comedian, alex you’ve left the realms of reality mate. i’m having none of it
'yappy handbag dog' oh god lol I can't unsee it.
I love Rob Beckett.
Just now realized his laugh reminds me of Ricky Gervais
Aww, their bromance is so sweet!... might need some insulin though (4:23), and I'm thinking 'don't hug, no hugs', please!
I wish they both would have ordered some corn on the cob!
Hahahah I love how this is basically Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.... minus the drive part haha otherwise identical
But also a million times better.
Why are all the people in the B-shots pretending like they’ve never eaten a pie before 😆
Best one he's done, apart from potentially the Katherine Ryan one...
Man i love these!!!
I love rob with a passion but yappy hand bag dog describes him perfectly
Brilliant
Anyone else binge watching theses
I believe there is a korean look-a-like of Rob Beckett. Yang Se Chan.
this is amazing :')
In the best way...Elmo and Oscar doing a show
Lol please do more
Where is the nani track in this series
Good to see kugan kassius getting his chance on tv
Thanks BBC
For this terrific comedy.
Thanks 🤢🤮🤮🤮
Publican thats a new word for the day. #success
I met Robs´dentist in the Bahamas on a THREE MONTH holiday, lucky prick.
"You want me to be honest with you?"
"Yea, please"
"You don't check any diversity boxes"
"...............did I ever tell you about the time I came out to my dad.....?"
Every single customer never visited that place again
Are the other cafe people real? I saw one eating an egg that squirted everywhere.
🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Rob and Rom’s Bromesh.
That yellow bit on his teeth had me distracted the whole time
Smell your food before you eat mate lol
Help the poor non-native speaker: what does "laddy geezer" mean exactly? :D
Keltani A really manly, almost rude man. Loves football and beer. Look at Danny Dyer, he is prime geezer.
When Rob says "but you're hard work going out for dinner"... ?? Can a British person explain to me what that means? lol
He's Vegan!
What are the logistics to this? Do they have to shut down the café and hire actors to pretend to eat? Do the café owners get paid? Thank you :)
Do you have to live so relentlessly in the real world?
@@kawaiilotus it’s just a question! Jeez! Am I not allowed to be curious?

Does working class mean poor, he said his dad was a lorry driver, were they poor?
I love how one's obviously racist and the other is brown but they are best friends.
Wait what? Racist?
Is thespy a word? It literally doesnt show up in google, google thinks im trying to type "the spy". this is very strange.
is that shaquille o'neill in the background
Lol. Glad I wasn't the only one thinking that.
"coming out" as a comedian, no pun intended there
1:10 Rob is half black?!
I could murder double Pie, double mash, liquor n eels now......
finally a down to earth white guy who's giving as good as he gets. romesh will respect that so much more than some apologetic lefty
how are ppl ignoring them

Do it with big narstie
Not all of Rob's magnificent teeth are shiny white. I'm so disappointed in him
did he say his dad was a black cab driver?
Is it wrong that I would smash all that food. Man. I’m a simple bloke.
We could have named this show, a monster talks to his pretend friends
🐦🐤🐦
I don’t know how he’s a real comedian ?!?!?
this is a rip off of comedians in cars. but better.
Shit Beckett’s put on so much weight

Came out as a comedian??!! Never noticed tbh..
I'm never sure which laugh is more annoying: Rob's overly amused drunken grandma or Jimmy Carr's short of dying seal...
Definitely Jimmy Carr.
Definately Jimmy Carr
Comming out of his teeth
Why do people mock teeth make no sense
Surely this is a new low on the scale of how crap tv can get.
How loud are these guys talking?? Surprised they weren't kicked out for the racket they were makin!
Rob beckett stop eating mate
Rip off version of Comedians in Cars getting coffee
twankyjoe True. Rob Llewellyns show was better because he's not an insufferable jerk like Seinfeld.
