Hey gang, I was a bit experimental in this video trying to expand more on the concepts and worry less about keeping things really tight and concise. What did you think and do you prefer this style? Please share any feedback you have :)

Yes, this is nice - a half-hour discursive video talking around key aspects of a topic is really nice, and allows for reflection as you reinforce the points being made.

I would actually love some unedited content from you, something Hamza-style. Young viewers might now have the attention span for that but I'm sure some people would also find that valuable

I’ve been watching your videos since 2020, when I was searching for effective study techniques during my masters. Because I watch you regularly, your videos something feel repetitive (which is ok, since the messages are important) but I feel like this is the best video since a very long time. Thank you!! I’m excited to read your book soon ☺️🙏

I am reading your book right now, and did the Wheel of life evalutation at your suggestion around the new year. It helped me see that I need goals and strategies in the areas of relationships and health. Workwise I'm doing better, which is how I connected with your work. I became a nurse at 53, and now, at 57, I am almost done with my Masters in eldercare and I intend to become a specialist with the mindset of an entrepreneur, showing my work (yes, I read all of Austin Kleon's work too, when they came out) and working with different projects to improve how we ease the end of life for our patients. Which is a real calling for me, one I found after years of being a disgruntled systems analyst trying to write a novel.... I am inspired by all your videos, but also every time a bit sad that you don't find medicine as fulfilling; I would love to work with a doctor like you! 🥰

Ali's approach to productivity is amazing. I bought his book. It reminded me of his advice to stand out on TH-cam. While generic, he implements it in his businesses, emphasizing enjoying every step. In the self-help niche, where discipline and hard work dominate, Ali stands out, showcasing that enjoying yourself leads to effortless productivity.

I do not have any followers anywhere, at this point I am just an another mom on social media, but as I decided that my purpose and my Why is bigger than when and how, I feel free of fear and ready to do what my heart sings for. Love the long form vid, specifically because it is more podcast-like and I can fill more mundane tasks with education (“how can I make this fun?” 😉). What stood out to me most in this one is that so much advice is the same, it’s just packaged differently and that’s a GOOD thing; everyone speaks a different “language”, despite the fact that they’re speaking the same language, if you get my drift. Big life lessons like these need to come in different forms to be understood by different brains. Exercises can have the same essential objective, but have more or less of an effect depending on who does them.
I guess that can also contribute to us getting a bit obsessed with productivity/success content, too, though, because consuming it makes us feel productive/successful (essentially “fake” productivity/success), which, in turn, causes us to pay less attention to what’s being said, so we don’t actually recognise that the same essential messages are being sent. It goes over our head because we like the short term pleasure of feeling sophisticated over the long term gain of actually doing the work (calling myself out here, too!). Aaaaanyway, thanks for the content, I promise I’ll act on it 😁

My ultimate fulfillment in my work is to see tangible results of how my showing up improved the life of the person in front of me. Rediscovered from this video that I need to prioritize the people closest to me. I like asking for an answer to questions in the comments section. Feels more like a conversation that way.

I really like these longer "llife" style videos where you ramble on for a bit with the relaxing music in the background, it's the perfect video to listen to when I'm doing my stretches in the morning.

"Grasp your mission securely but hold the mechanism loosely" is such an amazing quote. I do have a clear, meaningful mission, but once I set a "perfect" direction for myself to work towards the goal I find it very difficult to have to deviate from it. I needed everything to be perfectly aligned with my plan, but really, reality doesn't work like that. There will be uncertainties and unpredictables, and not everything is within my control. This quote serves as a great reminder that as long as you have a clear, meaningful mission, you'll get there eventually, there's no need to frantic. Love it :)

I enjoyed the change. I like how in-depth you were about each book and the fact that you shared your own thoughts and experiences. I see how well you connect with books like this and see you enjoy it, which makes for a fun watch.
I also just love doing journal prompts and writing my thoughts down so thank you for the questions afterward.
    Overall 100%

Hey ali, you have really changed my life for the best in many ways, from studying, to knowing what missions to take all the way up to relationships and becoming a better human. Really liked this video, instigated me to rethink some things that i wasn’t paying as much attention as i should. 26 min that flew by. Longer videos that feel more intimate and feel like a conversation are always a win.

Edoardo here, from Italy. I watched the video till the end and I must say, for me, it was one of your most meaningful videos. It resonated with me in a way that other videos on your channel did not. This is not meant to "insult" the other videos, not at all: if I've followed you and watched lots of your contents is because I find true value in them (both topic-wise and making-wise). I think that the length of the video, paired with the way you approached the topic (in a very chill way, with, I believe, fewer cuts and a more continuous flow to the way you spoke) made it seem more like a conversation than a "presentation" (idk if this makes sense). In the end, really great job. I don't know how to express how useful your contents are to me, as a 21yo university student you helped me greatly. Thankyou

I think this is one of your best videos or at least the best book review , the way you were honest and thoughtful of everything you said. Everything you said you meant it and were not afraid of it , it didn’t seem formulaic or written to avoid judgement people , you were truly portraying yourself. Great one. The length depends on you it’s your art. If you think it should be 5 mins long let it be and if it’s 50 that’s good too. Do it the way that makes you enjoy the process. I personally gained a lot of value so this 26 minutes was worth my time and wouldn’t have minded if it was longer.

I love this new format - it's authentic and gives me a direction on how to approach and internalise the book. For example, I am very moved by your obituary, and it gives me an inspiration to write mine. I am a fan of Lewis Howes but when I first read his book, I was like, gosh, how am I going to draft my obituary? Reading those obituaries on New Nork Times featuring famous people is no help.
In brief, I appreciate the way you highlight your key takeaways from the book and your own reflections. Therefore, the length of the video is less a concern - as long as it's authentic, which is totally the case here.
    Thank you for this video!

Hey Ali! I absolutely LOVED this style! I could listen to your voice for ever. I put my AirPods in and listen to you when I need motivation to tidy my house and put tidy ‘systems’ in place. The essential thing you provide is hope. And that is what is missing when I look around at an untidy house and lack the motivation to tidy: we feel hopeless. This longer style video was great to accompany me long enough to get one room sorted 🤣 loved the mellow relaxing music too. Remember long videos talking about productivity helps people while they are trying to do productive things (tidying/sorting/planning etc)
