Music is composed of a complex formula: Inspiration (love), dedication and discipline. Beethoven's seventh in its second movement is a diamond. As a listener I can only be grateful for these moments.
I once heard a recording of Pipe Organ with a Choral background playing this exact piece of music, has anyone else heard this recording. It was hauntingly beautiful !!

Evidently you have not heard the rendition by Scott or more importantly, Sebastian Heindle. You should listen to many before making such a declaration. The acoustics are wonderful. The organ is likely fairly decent but the performance is lacking in life.

Hello I am arranging my mother's funeral in a church in England for September 24th 2015. She loved Beethoven and had all the symphonies which she played all the time when I was younger and there is an organ in church so I'm looking for organ music and of course there is very little - one piece I believe actually written for organ - but this would be perfect for the start of the service. I don't know whether the organist will be able to learn it in a week of course but if you could send me a link to where the written music is I would love to have it. Hello yes it was played and the organist in fact had his own version - he was a music professor at the University of Surrey and also happened to play the organ at the church where we held mum's funeral. The music was perfect - and the weather too - both helped a little on a very sad day. Thank you for you kindness in coming back to me and sending me the music Charlotte x

The 2nd movement is an Allegretto not Allegro. The version is really great on Organ
This version of Beethoven's allegro of the 7th symphony is the best I've ever heard! Do you sell your score for people, who want to play it at home?

Uh, no 128 register on the bass??? IMHO, a MUST on this tune. Otherwise not too bad, tad too 'nice' played, but otherwise OK...
