Good morning Pam and everyone! I wanted to share (video reminded me) that I found Heart Throb (volumes 1 AND 2) and purchased reasonably. I didn’t know what I would do with them (e.g. if I would follow your journal made from the book) but they are in such great condition, I can’t bear (yet) to take them apart. Maybe eventually I will, using bits and pieces of poems, etc. on pockets, etc. Maybe I just need to read them first. I don’t often get too hung up on tearing old books apart (I know you have talked about this before), but they are in just such good shape. While the authors who contributed may not be famous/well known, I’m a little hung up on the idea that the writing will be lost forever. However, by using some of it to be seen in journals, I am in a sense giving it new life! Can you see my internal battle?? LOL!
I actually bought one very reasonable to use and followed Pam series! Mine turned out to be quite a chunky monkey!!
I feel the same about the Edith Holden book I found. I can't bear to cut it up.

It’s been about a week since i have discovered you. The best thing is that I don’t have to buy a thing, I already own SOOO many craft supplies. One of my ideas is to do some themed junk stuff, however i really don’t want to tear apart one of my favorite books to use the page(s)…so I decided that i will either scan or take a photo of some pages, print them out on copy paper and use that. Bonus i can make it whatever size i want. I am quite sure others have already considered that, but it just came to me so i had to comment. 😂
Love it. And Sonny - Murphy says the snuggle spot is right in the middle of mom's lap.
Nice project! Easy for a Monday. Love the comment "wipe that on your clothes". Who needs a towel when you craft when you have clothes! I found an old Seats catalogue in my attic...a happy surprise. Have a great week!

Another great project, I had to get up and get a book page, scissors, ink, and glue, and try it myself while watching. Love the pupdate. Toby, my 10 pound crafting supervisor, has asked me to pass along to Sunny that he too does exactly the same thing, it just sometimes gets too warm in the snuggle spot, so shifting around just has to happen.
