The Quietest Place on Earth.

A cinematic travel film of our trek through the Olympic Peninsula to the Northernmost tip of the contiguous United States | Filmed on the BMPC6k Pro, DJI Ronin RS2, Sony A6400 and the DJI Mavic 2 Pro.
This August we embarked on a week long journey through the Pacific Northwest. We backpacked in the Olympic National Park, explored Seattle and spent a night in Canada. While I didn't directly reference it, the National Park is known as one of the worlds few remaining sanctuaries of natural silence. it's said that by preserving even just one square inch of the rainforest from exterior sounds (planes, cars, etc.) you can potentially positively affect hundreds of miles of surrounding land.
After graduating College I had 2 choices: To join my peers in an immediate career commitment, or to strive for something that I feel surpasses the norm.
I chose the latter.
This film marks my first steps towards establishing myself as a cinematic travel filmmaker. While I don't know what the future holds, I'm lucky enough to have a support system of friends and family who back me every step of the way. I invite you to join me on my debatably absurd endeavors :).

@@jacobgeeslin Quick question. When you make your transition shots do you plan those out ahead of time or just figure them out in the edit.

@@osullivanstudios I try to plan out the shoot as best I can beforehand. in terms of transitions I'd say its a bit of planning and a little bit of winging it lol, but I do pay attention to camera movement when making my cuts. Doing that makes the transitions flow better for me
