Danger Zone - Burnout Crash Mode Successor?

- After playing through this some it does feel very similar to the crash mode found in the Burnout game series. Tons of explosions and crashes all over the place just like I remember Burnout.

I think the ps2 game had better damage models though
this game doesn't feel like a current gen game. The crashes look too fixed and the cars don't damage enough. Burnout 3 had better crashes and that game came out in 2003.

I love how the cars are exact copies for example the car you drive is a vw passat R line and the trucks are Dodge Rams
Actually, the first phase is a nod to Burnout 2. Burnout 2 had one of the best crash modes in my opinion. The first crash mission in Burnout 2 had the exact same ramp and intersection. The buses that are parked in the back behind the intersection were actually RVs in Burnout 2. Sometimes a big rig would go across the intersection too.
There's no button to quit before starting a level for real, WhyBeAre!!

When the level was called pickups I thought you could only crash into pickup trucks and any other car would be a penalty

It does look like a fun game and does remind of the crash junctions in Burnout. Damage looks kinda lacking though, but I assume it's because the game just came out so they'll work on that later, plus the cars kind of float above the ground without their wheels. Anybody else notice that?

The last minutes of part 2 are AMAZING

Starting playing this not too long ago, and it's actually pretty good. And this is coming from someone who's played all the Burnouts. Once they start adding more content it'll be even better

Burnout was super fun, I mainly played takedown. This definitely reminds me of crash mode

I'm genuinely disappointed now seeing the actual game. They hinted this a while back and I was expecting to see something along the lines of Burnout 3 in terms of gameplay. Driving at highspeed through traffic while taking down your rival's cars in it trying to avoid a crash as possible while having a separate mode for crashing.
I wasn't expecting it to be just an all out crash mode like Burnout Crash!.
