This episode is a bit of a beast! We spent 10+ days at the beautiful Lake Atitlan exploring 3 towns (Panajachel, San Marcos and San Pedro... and a fourth in the next video...) and then condensed all of that into one 30 minute episode. The shot from the thumbnail is from the Indian Nose sunrise hike, and it is truly one of the best views we've ever seen.
The lake is incredibly special to us, and we hope you enjoy the video, let us know what you think and if you liked the longer form video (or would rather we stick to shorter and snappy). We'll leave you with a great quote from author Aldous Huxley (Brave New World):

I’ve watched lots of videos about Lake Atitlan, but you showed a different aspect of it that I hadn’t seen before. Most people don’t bother with the hiking, but as you said in the video, that sunrise hike to the vista was truly amazing. Can’t wait for your next video.

I loved your video. I have lived in panajachel for ten years now. But I love to see everyone's videos. I don't make it across the lake too often to see San Pedro, or San Marcos. So that is nice to see your videos of those towns. But it is very nice to see wonderful videos like yours of this beautiful Lake and the people around here are amazing. I hope you return soon and make more videos. I love to share them with my friends and family back in the US.

I was in Guatemala a couple of years ago and i didn’t visit this place . I stayed in Antigua and hiked fuego 🌋 . I am planning my trip back to very soon , Guatemala blew me away 🤩🌎

How did you film w your gopro while Ziplining ? A selfie stick? I’m going there next month and wonder what I should bring to film it.
Hey, we just used a waterproof handle with a wrist strap (so basicallly a selfie stick). Super simple and so much fun, enjoy your trip!

It was very lively when we were there (a few months ago) but there were some curfew restrictions at the time… not sure how it’s changed since but i imagine it’s even better ☺️
