ரத்தன் டாடாவின் இறுதி ஊர்வலத்தின்போது சோகம் தோய்ந்த முகத்தோடு அந்த இளைஞர் இருசக்கர வாகனத்தில் சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தார். கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாக ரத்தன் டாடாவுக்கு உற்ற நண்பராக திகழ்ந்த அந்த இளைஞர், அவரது இறுதி சடங்கிலும் அங்கும் இங்கும் திரிந்துகொண்டிருந்தார். அந்த இளைஞரின் பெயர் ஷந்தனு நாயுடு.
ரத்தன் டாடாவின் கடைசி காலகட்டத்தில் அவரின் நிழலாக இருந்த ஷாந்தனுவுக்கும் ரத்தனும் இடையே 55 வயது வித்தியாசம் இருக்கிறது. ஆனாலும் 85 வயது டாடாவின் நம்பிக்கைக்கு பாத்திரமானவராக 31 வயது ஷந்தனு கருதப்பட்டார்.
